Man I wish it was full on 3v3 as well…. 2v2 always seems so unfinished. With 3 characters I feel that opens doors for more mixups , combo extensions , pressure etc

All I play are fighting games, so I never was into LOL, but I liked Arcane and this looks sick. I can't wait for it's release
i really hope there will be some sort of grappler character maybe blitzcrank or like sett because that archetype is very fun to play despite them being low tiers in most games
the chracter’s having separate super meters is cool
Hey LK, what's your take on games to prep for Project L? I've heard BBTAG, Skullgirls, Power Rangers, and MvCI. They all seem really fun, but I'm not sure which one to get.

MvCI, Power Rangers, and BBTag (kind of in that order) are probably going to be your best analogs. I didn't get my hands on the game yet so I can't say for certain, but based on gameplay and tag mechanics those should be similar.

edit: but seriously I hope they have some insane collaborations, since they are doing a fighting game i really hope they get access to some insane IPs, because let's be real almost every fighting game has a collab and they are pretty sick, so hopefully they have some insane ones.

Idk they have a large enough roster to add characters from. I doubt they would want to do collaborations. Maybe once the game is 3-4 years old.

Yes. That's the official name they changed it to from the holder name of Project L.

There aren't really hit effects, I'm noticing. Just attacks that come out. Or the animations are just too smooth, not enough snap.
Edit: Actually, I think it's that the hit times are just not syncing up properly with the animation. A lot of stuff seems to register just before you see the animation finish, so it looks really low impact when you see the hitstop occur.
This game looks super slow with a lot of defensive play.
That's just because people haven't had time to adapt to it

I highly doubt it given the lead devs are FGC legends. They won't make such a mistake.
A lot of the infinites in marvel were the result of glitches. A F2P game from riot won't keep that shit for long

What sort of question is that? It's a fighting game. It's for whoever likes or would like fighting games lmao
Surprisingly, a lot of fighting game players also play league. And as far as 2v2 tag games go, Project L seems relatively tame. Sure, 2v2 games tend to be a little less popular (because there tends to be a lot of grimey shit), but everyone I've talked to so far is excited to at least give the game a try. Including some league players who have never really gotten fighting games.

It feels kind of empty idk how to explain it with words, like if the game has no soul
That's largely due to the fact the the game is essentially pre alpha. There are only 4 player characters, 2 maps, and nothing else. Even the menue system for the playable demo that was available at EVO was made only a week before hand. They're still building almost everything. The only reason the ability to play exists for some is so the devs can get very, very early feedback to help them steer the vameplay direction and be capable of correcting based on feedback.
Can you try to explain? Just going it feels ‘empty’ doesn’t say much nor provide anything useful.
