EB Tucker: Gold is at a New High, Now it's Time to Let it Run

EB Tucker correctly called gold's rise to US$1,500 per ounce last year, and this week his updated prediction for the yellow metal came true.
Tucker, who is a director at Metalla Royalty & Streaming, has been forecasting that gold will take out its previous all-time high of around US$1,920 this year, and on July 26 it did just that.
"US$1,500 kind of became this base to go from, and then US$1,900 is now an area where as professionals we let it run. I mean, this thing is going to run," said Tucker, who is also the author of the book "Why Gold? Why Now?"

3 years ago, people thought I was just eccentric with all my talk about gold and silver. They would give me an eye-roll about my buying gold and silver properties. That all stopped a couple of months ago.
I to was told in 2018 that I was nuts for buying 70 Oz Gold, 15 Oz Palladium, 400 oz Silver. My girlfriend hasn't stopped having orgasms for the past 4 days.

@Pete Kalibo Wow, that is awful. Some medical services are just fine in the Philippines, but some major surgeries are better in a handful of countries such as Australia, which has some of the best in the world.
Dude's exactly spot on about this being a deflationary collapse. Under the current system, dollar production is directly correlated with the amount of debt or credit existing in the country. Debt is the money. Less debt equals less money.

Honestly I have been telling my friends and acquaintances buy streamers like Metalla, sandstorm or osisko for the last year. I have also strongly advised first majestic, agnico eagle or weaton precious metals also. You have been bang on for a long time.

Can you imagine what happens once miners report earnings on spot prices at this level? The market is still digesting this and most retail investors are just learning about GDX. We're just getting started.

Sunbro von Astora And then they learn about the real juniors like MRQRF, ABBRF, AIRRF, DNCVF, ECRFF etc etc etc. GDXJ doesn’t have many true juniors in it. Most of these names are gonna blow the socks off the people. They are such thinly traded stocks. If a few billion $ finds its way into these names, it’s going much higher. Hell, they have already done very good. Explosive times ahead and we haven’t even brought up uranium names!
@@sanpedrosilver I think GDXJ is good because of the diversification aspect and more return potential vs GDX. If you are a gold mining expert and have the time to do research on gold mining junior companies, then go for it. I am pretty sure that there are companies that will significantly outperform an ETF like GDX or GDXJ.

Just hold your GOLD! If you sell it I’ll go down. I see people buy over 10oz and MORE and when they see it jump or drop $20 - $30 they sell it right away. It’s ridiculous. Just hold it and buy more gold. Let it run go up and just watch.

I just looked up silver coins (I'm in the EU) and the premiums on these coins are just outrageous. Even if silver hits a solid 40 the margins are very slim. I'm just gonna stick to my gold for now.

Sold my house in 2018, downsized and rather than buy stocks I decided I wanted to play with my own money and partake of my grandfathers hobby which was coin collecting.
Bank gave me a great 3% on a 50k deposit over a 3 year commitment, and I figured I'd just dump the rest $150k in Precious metals via APMEX. To date I'm up $71k in 16 months. Love America.

let's say we go from 25 bucks/ounce to 200 bucks. Sure that's a big move, but I think there's a big possibility that royalty companies like MTA, or companies such as Auryn, Midas, Eastmaine and outcrop, etc, easily could outperform the physical?
why not gamble for the 20x-50x instead of coins that do 10x??

It is probably a good idea not to get anxious right now and sell anything related to precious metals to "save profits", wether it is gold or silver, physical, stocks or ETFs. All these have still a good "margin of safety". The money supply increase is orders of magnitude bigger than the total value of the gold market, which is again orders of magnitude bigger than the total value of the silver market. I agree that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. There may be a small dip for precious metals in the near future. So if you have derivatives with leverage it might be the time to cash in temporarily. But your gains are probably so big that a dip doesn't matter anyway. In general, I do not believe that our governments are actually interested in doing what is good for the economy and for society. So the money printing induced inflation will continue. The richest will profit the most through asset inflation. And the politicians will say "We had no choice other than to throw money at the negative economical fallout of the meassures that we have decided on ourselves. And a crucial aspect is that if people have so much more money than they will ever need for themselves, they get motivated by other things and money is merely the tool to achieve their goals. So their actions might not seem rational to us. So investors need to consider this when they choose what to invest in and what not.

But just to make it clear, I have no clue wether gold will be at 2200, 2500, 3000 or higher at the end of the year. I only think that is not likely that we will see a larger decline in the near future. Just my opinion based on what the central banks are doing and how I think Corona will play out. (I don't expect that everything will go back to normal in the near future, maybe never again?!) I have absolutely zero trust in any major government.

8:07 Thanks for making sense on inflation. Everybody believes money printing brings inflation. Deflation right now is a bigger risk, from the government's point of view. The US has been trying to stimulate inflation since '08 without much success.

I purchuse 100 k in 2011 because of video like mike Maloney when I said gold was gonna be at 20k so I paid 1700 and 1800 but I’m not selling until i get not paper money wise but what my gold can get me, like house or sailboat what can I get for it, that’s what I’m looking for. But please get gold my father made a lot in 1980 when people called him crazy to buy gold at 35 yet years later he sold it at the top, don’t make the mistake gold can’t go higher when in 1980 gold went up 24 times, imagine if it goes up like that again.....

If it's just the virtual market stuff (ETF), I wouldn't touch it because you can't touch it.
It's no secret that if you don't HOLD it, you don't own it.
buying now... is kind of like trying to play catch up in a baseball game but you are starting out in the 7th inning.
I guess better late than never, but you can get burned too if you don't know what you are doing.
I am glad someone "hates" silver. That means that it will continued to be incredibly undervalued AND I can still get some more because I don't hate it.
ETFs are as real as stocks are. They are equally protected as "special assets" by law, at least where I live.
@@valueinvestor8555 it's still garbage compared to real hard assets; that is physical gold and silver. You can have all the ETFs that you want, but there is no guarantee that you can take delivery of it especially since it's mega-manipulated... oh, just like stocks!
@@paulrichards383 You are talking about ETCs not ETFs. ETF = exchange traded fund, usually contains stocks of producers if we talk about gold. What delivery do you want to take if you are shareholder in gold producers via an ETF? ETC = exchange traded commodity.
@@valueinvestor8555 no, I was talking about ETF because you aren't taking any delivery. As far as commodities, people typically aren't trying to take delivery of the item, yet if they get stuck, having to take delivery of physical gold or silver is a lot better than figuring out how to store tons of soy or whatever.
My basic argument is ETF/ETC vs private party physical precious metals purchasing. There's a disconnect between them. Sure, they might use the "spot" just to give the paper market some credibility, but their premiums are whatever they want... sometimes based on demand.
In any of those types, one can still get burned. Let's say people were buying like crazy, and they are, when gold and silver are high, and now it's taking a dip, they can lose if they are not in it for the long game.
With today's rising gold price 22K gold (hindu) jewelry becomes a nice alternative as the existing pieces haven't gone up in price yet, and jewelry is the best way around confiscation.
