    "It looks like I'm in the middle of an earthquake." That's funny. This concert registered on Richter scales measuring for earthquakes. The synchronized jumping was enough to actually shake the ground. That's an epic concert.

I've seen many concerts & games there. In 2018 football ⚽️ lovers were all watching TV or at the stadium watching the final game of the Copa Libertadores against our biggest rival that has never happened in history. We played against Boca jr. Check out the highlights 🏆

      Rock has many genres and many many different sounds associated with it. If I was trying to explain to someone who'd never listened to music what rock music was. Of all the bands I could choose from I'd play them an AC/DC track. Now I disagree that AC/DC is the greatest rock band of all time but they have the sound that best explains rock as a whole. And they are among my favorite bands.

I don’t know who’s in charge. But I’ll be there, first concert of the tour, May 17th. With 70.000 people in a football stadium. And yes, they took 185€ for a ticket, but that’s sadly normal after COVID hit the industry very hard. Adele charged 400€ for a ticket, so AC/DC is still not so greedy. AC/DC was an amazing show. 3plus hours of 100 percent energy. Lots of running around interaction with the crowd, sweating like roasted hogs and loving every minute of it. They never phoned it in. They were a group that LOVED what they did and put out the best every performance. How Brian Johnson could sustain that singing style for that long boggles the mind. Bon Scott, their original lead singer was also phenominal, but sadly drank himself to death.

    I saw these guys 3 times in the last 30 years. Brian Johnson's voice has always sound this good even today. Prior to him, Bon Scott was the singer until his death and also had a great voice. There's a reason why these guys are Australia's most successful Rock band. The song has nothing to do with Hell or the Devil. It was written by Bon Scott and it was about the long hours of driving in Australia in blazing heat when they started to tour early on in their career and being in this little van all of them and their instruments. It was so hot that it felt like driving down an highway to Hell.

    The Canning Highway in Western Australia, is nicknamed The Highway to Hell, where Bon Scott lived. There are vids on RUclips where thousands go to play and listen to AC/DC Music. Many say song is about AC/DC travelling for hours on the Canning Highway to Fremantle Western Australia. Others say its origin has a different meaning. I’m positive I watched a vid about them talking about the Highway and what a hell of a long treacherous highway it is.

    I was lucky to be there, this guys are the real shit. It's funny that you mention earthquakes, because after the show the stadium was banned for shows because of damages caused by vibrations.

    You really need to check out the best use of bagpipes in rock in their song “It’s a Long Way to the Top If You Want to Rock and Roll” featuring the original lead singer Bon Scott before he died

    oh and btw the crowd size was close to 200,000 and my first concert pilgrimage for a band it was insane, and it felt like an earthquake and the crowd looks wild but they were so caring for this dude with what they presumed was cerebral palsy:) so i felt totally safe jumping up and down.

    AC/DC are one of the best live bands ever - their sound is like the studio, and they have played together so long that all their sound drops and entries are spot on timing.

    The original lead singer Bon Scott died at age 33. The original whisky voice of legends. I really didn’t know at the time if they could ever replace him, But they did with great success. The love/hate..it reminds me of replacing other famous lead singers. How much hate did Sammy Hagar get when he replaced David Lee Roth?

    • @wesalker3479
      @wesalker3479 10 месяцев назад +8

      Bon knew Brian Johnson, personally and told his bandmates that IF anything should ever happen to him, they should look into recruiting him. Bon chose his replacement.

    • @GeminiPurPower
      @GeminiPurPower 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@wesalker3479 awe…that’s great insight..sad..maybe Bon knew one day his drinking would get the best of him. I was in High School at the time. I remember the boys in total disbelief. They really took it hard.

      I don't believe Bonn Vs Brian is like Van Halen vs Van Hagar . Big difference though between your lead dies and your lead leaving/ being fired .

    • @GeminiPurPower
      @GeminiPurPower 10 месяцев назад

      @@blurpledragon2779 oh I agree, but it was just a frenzy on campus.. I remember the boys striking a revolt against VH, the arguments..lol.. almost some fights..what crazy times it was as an observer. It was the common thread of “ can the original ever be replaced” . I’m sure many other bands throughout history went through this with unexpected deaths, firings etc. but this was at a very critical time period in my life when emotions are at an all time hormonal high.

    Had the privilege to see them in Oakland back in July of 1978, Day on the Green #3. They shared the stage with Aerosmith, Van Haylen, Foreigner, Pat Traverse. It was an all day concert and it was the bomb.

    Don’t forget that the original of this song was done by Bon Scott and this is Brian Johnson performing live.
    Also, it makes me giggle when you say that you’re Christian and your mom would not like this. I grew up the same way. Went to Catholic school for 12 years from first grade to my senior year. I would blast AC/DC from my room and my parents would always talk about “that devil music“ and how I’d’go to hell’ for listening. my parents were also very big football fans. Somehow their music tastes would change when the very familiar bells would toll, signaling the beginning of AC/DC’s “Hells Bells“ that most stadiums started to incorporate during the games to gin up the crowds. They sure didn’t care that it was “devil’s music“ then! Lol.

    Hey Black P Love the reactions!!!You just watched what true Rockstar's are in their 60's still rock star's LOL Just keeping you posted they are touring starting in MAY in Germany as of 4/10/2024 they have only announced the European leg of the tour but we expect the USA leg of the tour to be announced soon we all hope. I promise you there are 2 bands you will never be disappointed of seeing LIVE AC/DC and KISS the shows are amazing I know there are others too but out the 50+ concerts I have been too they are at the top along with Pantera!!!!!! I went to AC/DC Hollywood in 1977 and went to AC/DC in last appearance in 2016 in Sunrise with AXL fronting the band the music stills sound exactly the same!!!!!

    The original singer passed away. He was a fantastic front man. They hit the jack pot with Brian, as he was able to carry the AC/DC sound while not mimicking the original singer.
    Brian sounds the same as 1980. He nearly retired claiming voice issues, but we fans haven't noticed much change.

    AC/DC has two main eras. The Bon Scott era gave the feeling of " you don't mess with us because we're crazy" . The Brian Johnson era gives the feeling of "you don't mess with us because we're bad"

    The press played on the devil theme and the boys went with it. The story that makes the most sense is Bon Scott was living in WA and to get to the pub/town he had to go down a steep road with a bad corner which the locals called hell corner.Hence going down to the town with my friends, no stop signs etc. Now go to Bon Scott's time with ACDC, start with it's A Long Way to the top if you want to rock and roll. Australia had the best pub rock scene on the planet in the 70's and 80's

    Dude not too shabby for a bunch of old dudes!!!!! AC/DC played 3 straight nights at River Plate in Dec 2009 to a total of 220,000+ ppl so says their official web site so that’s 73,000+ a night!!!!! Brian Johnson the lead singer was 63, Angus Young the lead guitarist was 54 and the rest of the boys were in their 50’s!!! Legendary is all I can say. These Argentina fans are the best on the planet and they appreciate good hard driving rock and roll. Just look at all the different ages in the crowd. It transcends generations. Unbelievable!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🤣🤣🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎😎🍸
