Extremely intelligent. He goes from meteorology and physics, to pop culture, to conspiracies, to politics, to civil engineering, to shakespeare, to astrology(horoscopes), to wines, to black culture.
It's people like Neil that makes the world a better place.
+Kenny Yee Exactly!! We need more people like Dr. Tyson whose sole agenda is the promotion of science literacy in our day to day lives.
+Kenny Yee I have always wondered why (at least in my experience) so many individuals are unashamedly ignorant and in many cases are encouraged to stifle their curiosity. Knowledge can lead to becoming someone similar to Neil.
+Kenny Yee He also carries around a magnum chocolate dong prob big enough to please any woman.
+Kenny Yee but he doesn't know how to wear headphones correctly.
FG Eclipse
or he doesn't want to ruin his hair.. what's wrong with that?? hehehe
Why do I always immediately feel so happy when I listen to Neil? His intellect, spirit, optimism, warmth and passion are infectious, and such a positive influence on our anxiety-stricken, confused and misinformed planet. What a priceless human being!
Ted L. you're so right.. I've just recently realized how awesome this man is
:D
+PackerFan4Life "I'm glad I'm alive to see people like him." Me too, Packer Fan :D
V G are you 12?
Ted L. Because you're ignorant of the bullshit he is trying to sell pretending it's science
If I had this guy as my science teacher I’d be doing science today. I’m serious. His passion and enthusiasm for the subject is utterly infectious.
inphanta we need teachers with his enthusiasm. I blame the lazy and incompetent teachers of our society today for not bringing that excitement towards the youth
Nah my brotha, you won't do shit rather than complaining how your life would be better if you did that instead of that on youtube comments sections,
oh i learn much more than years of school
oh if had him as my teacher i would be so much better in those certain subjects
oh if this if that,
Bruh..... even if you have god as you class teacher you won't be nothing. don't try to justify you laziness and blame on others for your failure... dummy
@@lamaidalaakapinkcrocodile7527 pro tip: don’t post in the RUclips comments section when you’re on your period.
was anyone else hoping he'd drop an absolutely flames free style outta nowhere? 😂
Logan Smiley lowkey 😂
Hahaaha 😂😂😂
High key I was
Str8 🔥.....Lmao
HAHA the thought never entered my mind, but once i read your comment, i started wishing that would have happened. Great comment.
We SERIOUSLY need more people like Neil deGrasse Tyson.
***** You do!! check out Dr, Oyibo!!!
***** If only more black people were inspired by science and not rappers basketball players and white jaysus
***** Jim Al-khalili, Brian Cox, Lawrence Krauss, and a few others. But yes, we need many many more. These guys popularize physics, and science as a whole.
Swidhelm
I actually met Brian Green, Lawrence Krauss and DeGrasse all at the same time... Kool beans
SHAKKA AHMOSE Nice!
I love hearing him speak. 23 minutes felt like 5.
roomforthefiiixins i swear this interview should've been longer... i can listen for hours.
I totally agree with you.
roomforthefiiixins you a citizen
go0dtimes88 ..of Sway in the morning (Heather B voice)
***** You said all of that and ended your paragraph with a smiley face..??
How very christian of you...
"It's the very fact that we're mortal
That creates urgency
In whatever you want and need in your life"
- Dr. Tyson dropping wisdom
"just admit you're not as smart as the people who built the aliens."
It's always refreshing to see a genius fumble.
I agree, it makes them relatable :) they are human like us, not some out of this earth genius. reminds us that we all have that potential.
I died man !!! Lol
No nigga that's a reach...And when I say reach that's like you trying to touch the sky.😂😂...Just because someone makes a momentary grammatical error in discourse...That doesn't make them relatable...That's just playing into your inner insecurities..You want to be inspired by Him...Study your ass off.
jumpstart55million Saying NDGT is human like us is a reach? I think you're the one who needs to study.
Dr. Tyson is the one person I must meet before I kick the ol' bucket.
JJPHILLYLG seeing him in sydney in august...can't wait! :)
Just saw him an hour ago!
Avery Miller In St.Louis? same!
Noobysauce Yep! Thats pretty cool
JJPHILLYLG Met him at New York Comic Con while I was dressed as Nightwing. Very odd occurrence but I managed to thank him for motivating me in my science education. The man is truly a wonderful person who really knows how to bring science to the masses in the most interesting way that others can relate to.
Can you imagine Kanye arguing with Neil? "HOW Neil? HOW? YOU AINT GOT THE ANSWER NEIL!"
Ronan Curtis YOU CAN'T PROOF A NEGATIVE KANYE, YOU CAN'T PROVE A NEGATIVE!!! LOL
LOL
Pyroclastic DOOM to quote president Obama "He(Kanye) is just a Jackass".. Dr. Tyson has better things to do than to stoop to that level of incompetence.
Pyroclastic DOOM Shit would be epic as fuck!
Pyroclastic DOOM
glad to see a DOOM fan.
I can listen to Neil all day, he drops knowledge in a way that is straight, factual and he's funny af.
i love how he breaks it down in a simpler way like he's so down to earth!! love him
That's because he he's an educator, and has a Phd. He can teach/communicate at all levels. EDIT: All *measurable* levels.
I actually chose a career in STEM largely because of Neil. What an inspiration.
What stem field are you specialised in ?
gigijbijbj I got my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering, I'm working on my masters in Robotics.
+U-n-I Survive nice , good luck to you
gigijbijbj Thanks :)
Same! I'm working on my masters in biochemistry.
"It's the very fact that we're mortal, that creates urgency in whatever it is you want and need to do in life, and I value that as a fundamental part of what it is to be human." (18:54)
- Neil deGrasse Tyson, 2015
Literally copied that into my notebook the second I heard it
"We are mindfucked everyday in our field."
-Neil deGrasse Tyson
Gurpreet Singh MAtharoo Look at the larry king interview he did where he went into detail about that, really cool stuff.
yeah, that was a good one, especially Larrys reaction to the question "If you could live forever, would you?" :D
It's a good quote, but I take issue with the idea that life can only have meaning or a certain pace if it's short and finite. I don't think if immortality were discovered tomorrow that all of a sudden everyone would turn into apathetic slugs who didn't want to do anything anymore. It just doesn't fly.
*Neil deGrasse Tyson for President!*
Also, Area 52? Really nigga....
Making that kind of money to interview celebs can't even point out the right location he talking about...Yeah dat nigga is dumb as hell.
First he said Hangar 52 xD
when he said that i was like this guy is an idiot lol
Pssshhh...you sit next to Neil deGrasse Tyson and we'll see how much you have your shit straight.
hangar 18
Lol should have asked for a freestyle
***** best comment ever
"Yo its Dr.Tyson, I'm so light skinned it'll make your eyes spin"... LOL idk...

I love Neil's sense of fun delivering information.
Thumbs up for Neil saying "Mindfuccked"
I was holding my breathe when scrolling down to the comments, but y'all actually showed this great man the respect he deserves!
Luv Neil deGrasse Tyson
I was holding my breath too.
Neil got that headphone swag tho
22:20 brotherly love, man. His laugh is adorkable, Neil almost gospel sung this one.
"That just meant you were banging out on a full moon." -- Neil DeGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist
G.I. José quote of the day
Could have said, "gettin' all astrophysical"... missed opportunity.
A_Transposition_Error lol
HOLY FUCK. Neil was so right on the pyramids. Blew my mind.
Kasey.C KC Actually he's was WRONG! The past 20 years proves ONE thing about the pyramid structure = they were built from the TOP DOWN!!!! Wrap your head around that! Tyson's job is to keep people as far away from the truth as possible! #obvious
Andre Salazar That has to be one of the stupidest comments I've ever read!
Andre Salazar lol u a funny nigga u kno dat?
Andre Salazar Built from the top down? LOL xD
Andre Salazar One word debunks that, Gravity. NEXT!
This man is incredible, every moment which I can Watching, I understand your important power through words. I love this guy, in my country everybody love your job!
I love listening to Neil. He's so thought provoking.
*Kanye*: YOU AIN'T GOT THE ANSWERS SWAY!
*sway*: hmmm he's got a point **calls Neil Degrasse Tyson**
haha
😂😂😂
A Mitch Hedberg joke?!?!? I didn't think I could love this man any more than I already do...
Michael Harris seriously!
Thank you for bringing Neil Degrasse Tyson to rap culture. I loved seeing this on your show. Bold move sway.
This is what i like to see. The science community breaking into everything. Love this ❤️❤️❤️
"thats next to area 51" LOLOL
SO cringe how dumb sway is.
One of my favorite NDT replies 😂😂
Man, I have never once in my life ever heard somebody misunderstand what that place is called, Area-51.
There's a first time for everything, but good lord, hahahahaha.
This is the most attention I've paid watching an interview on RUclips, Sway give Dr.Neil more time, more time, more time, more time, at least an hour but i know they probably have time restrictions, but ima watch his show, sounding intersting and informative...
This is the most attention you paid? On sways channel? Theres your problem right there hahahha
RabbiRan what's my problem sir
Gerwich Saint-Hilaire You should check out his interview with Colbert he did a while back.. very interesting
m larry thanks so much, my brother
Gerwich Saint-Hilaire if you dont recognize the problem, thats your second problem.
We need more astrophysicists in our country. I enjoy hearing this man...
Loved this interview. Talking science so... casual. Really good
Is it just me or was Neil Degrasse Tyson straight pulling Heather B without even trying
he hit that night
hahahahahah
😂😂😂😂😂
he hella did
+Dezrt 90% sure this nigga a virgin lmao

25Newengland well im the square kid at college.
The nerds always get the last laugh
25Newengland thank you =]
Can't believe I'm 6 years late to this conversation--it's so good!!
Man, I just love listening to Neil talk! Doesn't even matter what he talks about (although I much prefer science), 'cause he's just so into it! And I love that whenever it's time to stop talking he doesn't want to! There's always just that one more thing he's just burning to tell you. What a man! What a rolemodel! 🙌💚👍
It's funny seeing Sway nod his head in agreement when in actually he has no idea what Neil is talking about lol
Sway is notorious for his legendary nod. He nods in his sleep
A$AP Hades Lmao!
Tyler H. He probably understands full and well.
just because he is focused on the area of media and hip hop culture doesnt mean he cant be intelligent enough to understand Neil's explanations
CyberopticVoid Thats just not true
This interview should have been an hour! Could listen to this man talk all day!
Neil just brought up Mitch Hedberg. Hell yeah.
18:02 Neil DeGrasse Tyson saying 'mindfucked'. Highlight of my day.
Rynnerz_T so casual huh?
dudes so smart he cant use headphones correctly
+Kyle Crater "correctly" for you mate
Kyle Crater you've obviously never worn headphones on a bus while trying to relax
You guys are hilarious! Let the black guy help ya'll out. He doesnt wear the headphones over his head because it would leave a line in his afro haha
Didn't want to mess up his hair
Kyle Crater mayb he is and the creator got it wrong...pretty sure hes 4000x smarter than the headphone guy
Plot twist: Neil deGrasse Tyson is an alien.
TheBrothersCompound plot twist: We're all aliens and Neil is the only native being from Earth.
TheBrothersCompound Fuk Aliens. . .
pushpopLoC909 you get my applause for that one
Nice twist m night shamalan
TheBrothersCompound That would be hilarious :D
I don't drink, but I would drink with this man.
Sway, get more episodes/ time with Neil on your show so WE ALL MAKE THE LIST!
If only kids looked up to this guy instead of athletes and rappers
+TREBLEnBAYCE Kids need all kinds of role models though. Artists, athletes, and academics.
Or actual scientists who work in the sciences. Imagine if kids were exposed to more than Bill Nye and NDT? They might actually learn something other than; don't question what you're told by people on television.
So true
Shitting you not, those 24 minutes ended in like 3 minutes. Neil is such a charmer. I could listen to him all my life. Thank you for existing Neil. I've learnt more science on RUclips than my entire high school.
10:06 every person that still says i miss the 80s,90s or whatever should listen to this.
I could listen to him talk about anything for hours. Fascinating person.
This brotha is one of the most inspirational thinkers I've had the honor of ever listening to. He deserves an epic bio-picture or documentary for all the great work he has done in astro-physics, Science in general and as a great person.
-You're an alien guy!
-let's talk about hanger 52
Facepalm!!!
that's radio gold lol
Lol . Simply embarrassing
I have new appreciation for the word 'Deep'
Thanks TracyG
Loved the Mitch Hedberg call out.
I just found out about this Neil guy today and I absolutely love him! He's so well spoken and I hang off of every word he says. He's extremely engaging.
Did anyone else notice how heather b was flirting on the low? The grabbed hands like 10 times. And the wine question. i see you heather b. He married though.
***** without a doubt
Cameron Mitchell He grabs Sway's hand multiple times too...relax.
RelapseGalore55 Yea, Neil just has a very personable personality and is very comfortable with everybody, lol.
Cameron Mitchell nah man thats just how Neil is
RelapseGalore55 HE MUST BE BI SEXUAL AHHHHHH
Neil deGrasse Tyson on Sway, just gives me a great feeling seeing him breaking bread with every day cats and educating them. Love it!!!!
FACTS.... VERY MUCH INFORMED ABOUT ZODIAC SIGNS . THANX SWAY N DR. TYSON
The first caller they said was Real Deal from PA. As in the battle rapper??? Lol.
Somebody should use this against him on a battle.
Bro. Been watching your bids for yearass
gifteddiva HAAAAAAAAA Greatness...same thing I thought. You know your battlerap. lol
gifteddiva haha i thought i was the only one who picked up on that.
lol nice catch I didn't head the name first time. Unless it's someone faking to be him, it probably is because how many "Real Deals" live in Pittsburgh and listen to a hip hop based radio station.
im laughing so hard by the way neil is wearing his headphones xD
Rondogz That's the old school way early 80's lol
lol he has an afro
Neil is middle aged. There was a time before 2005 when wearing headphones like that was common.
Rondogz dj tyson
Too much sauce
Very good and i am inspired to look further
he stated the samething my professor said about Europeans, Egyptians, Aliens, and Pyramids. Academia and Hollywood is full of racism...the church too.
top 3 favorite african americans:
1Dave Chappelle
2Neil deGrasse Tyson
3Will Smith.
Love how tyson wears his headphones like a g
This is your list of favourite comedians, not americans right? And a horrible list! Dave Chappelle was the best name there, and definitely shouldnt be your top 3. Thats kinda fucked up haha
i said african americans.....
Chappelle168 will smith got chances to do amazing things. why cant we give black people the same chance
i thought will smith was black...? But i get what you mean i think, I guess we gotta wait a bit before a less racists generation is in power
Chappelle168 A less "racist" generation? Bullshit. You have it easier than the Russian serfs. Slavery was never fucking about racism until Europe's nationalism and movement of scientific racism happened. Stop being a victim that you never fucking were. Please, tell me how people are inherently all "racist".
Sway listens just like I do. In AWE how easy it is to talk to him and his sense of humor. Plus the fact he's beyond intelligent. Dudes a legend
The fact that he quoted Mitch Hedberg makes me know he's genius!
Neil is doing the best work an academic can do. Inspiring others to be engaged in science and math through engaging their popular culture and celebrities. His influence on young people in this generation will surely create the next generation of great scientists w/ a feel for common culture. We have to connect young people to education in all forms not make them feel excluded by it. It's honestly the only way humans can ever move forward, fix our problems, and save ourselves + this planet.
Neil got on Sway in the Morning? More importantly Sway got Neil? :o
The horoscope thing is the same as getting a fortune cookie.
Shanks Or a palm reading.
I wanna be on the list to one of neils lectures thatd be life changing
Omg Neil mentioned Mitch Heidberg! I loved that guys stand up!
"How did they build the pyramids? Moving those massive stones?" -Rimmer
"Massive whips, massive massive whips" -Lister
ComfortBlades Actually the Egyptians were notorious bureaucrats and kept records of most things including very important projects such as the pyramids. These projects were deemed too sacred to use slave labour so the workforce was payed. There are records of strikes etc.Agricultural economies have off seasons where nothing is done and labour is wasted, this is the time which was used to build the pyramids. The "whip" that is seen in the frescos depicting the construction of the great works were in fact timing sticks that created a sound to get everyone moving together so the maximum effort was utilized at once of those shifting the blocks. Most beliefs of the slave labour construction of said monuments arrived after early hollywood films depicting the myth. Most likely this idea originates from the bible which asserts the Israelites were enslaved by an unnamed Pharaoh in the book of exodus however no Egyptian document tells of such an even, they mention military defeats, petty civil conflicts, but no slave uprising. In fact modern archaeologists have found no evidence the Israelites were ever in this area. #longwindedreplies.
ComfortBlades them being very much smart.. umm they used vibrational frequencies through tools because science and math.. aaand homocapencis

"THE KINDEST RACE of the ancient world WAS THAT OF THE EGYPTIANS; and if we direct our course to the Nile Valley of 3 or 4000 yrs ago,we shall find CONDITIONS THERE SO HUMANE that instances of Pharaonic cruelty such as we have been shown in some recent film dramas will be seen at once to reflect THE MENTALITY OF THE PRODUCER AND NOT THAT OF THE PEOPLE he thought to portray... the Egyptians WERE SELDOM CONSCIOUSLY CRUEL; they DID NOT GRIND MEN TO PULP UNDER THE WHEELS OF THEIR JUGGERNAUGHTS, they DID NOT lash their laboring serfs, they DID NOT torture people, they DID NOT callously inflict death upon anybody-in fact THEY NEVER DID ANY OF THE THINGS of this sort which the film producers are at such pains to present to us."

"Contrary to some popular depictions, the pyramid builders WERE NOT SLAVES OR FOREIGNERS. Excavated skeletons show that they were Egyptians who lived in villages developed and overseen by the pharaoh's supervisors. The builders' villages boasted bakers, butchers, brewers, granaries, houses, cemeteries, and probably even some sorts of health-care facilities-there is evidence of laborers surviving crushed or amputated limbs. Bakeries excavated near the Great Pyramids could have produced thousands of loaves of bread every week. Some of the builders were permanent employees of the pharaoh. Others were conscripted for a limited time from local villages. Some may have been women: Although no depictions of women builders have been found, some female skeletons show wear that suggests they labored with heavy stone for long periods of time. Graffiti indicates that at least some of these workers took pride in their work, calling their teams "Friends of Khufu," "Drunkards of Menkaure," and so on-names indicating allegiances to pharaohs. An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 workers built the Pyramids at Giza over 80 years. Much of the work probably happened while the River Nile was flooded. Huge limestone blocks could be floated from quarries right to the base of the Pyramids. The stones would likely then be polished by hand and pushed up ramps to their intended positions. It took more than manual labor, though. Architects achieved an accurate pyramid shape by running ropes from the outer corners up to the planned summit, to make sure the stones were positioned correctly. And priests-astronomers helped choose the pyramids' sites and orientations, so that they would be on the appropriate axis in relation to sacred constellations. From stone pusher to priest, every worker would likely have recognized his or her role in continuing the life-and-death cycle of the pharaohs, and thereby in perpetuating the glory of Egypt."

steve fye your confused and need to do way more research
Neil is so amazing and smart it's always a pleasure listening to him!
+Brad Denis
... plus a brilliant teacher and a gifted actor.
I learn so much from him
I love Neil's laugh. Its full of soul!
I love listening to smart people talk.
+D.E.B. B we'll I'd stop listening to neil then.
Giles Thompson What makes you think he's not smart? Because he doesn't speak in scientific dialogue that ordinary people can't understand? Neil is a terrific educator, and he makes science interesting. That alone will make a huge impact on the world by getting more kids into STEM fields.
Well, because astrophysics, at least in its current incarnation is NOT a science. It is more akin to a religion since its proofs may NOT be independently verified; they invariably rely on "special equipment" that is generally inaccessible to a vast percentage of a nations populous.
Giles Thompson Hmmm. So, by that rational, all elements are unproven to exist because the average person doesn't know the procedures on how to determine one from another, and would be hopelessly lost trying to perform the experiments required.. Astrophysics is based on observations and calculations. You can't say something isn't a science just because YOU don't understand it. What makes something scientific is use of the scientific method to base things on, instead of just something that sounds like a good idea.
D.E.B. B A KEY principal of the scientific method is that tests may be REPEATABLE and VERIFIABLE. Just because YOU don't understand this doesn't, by extension, mean that the current heliocentric conjecture espoused upon by NASA, and related agencies, is a true representation of reality.
I got respect for the Brother Neil deGrasse Tyson, But I don't trust every thing he says. Scientist have "Peer groups" and "Governing bodies" to answer too and conform with. Much of what they say publicly needs to be "approved."
Also he kind of alludes to being "open minded" about the possibilities of things, but at the same time he is very rigid in his idea's and opinions as though they should be taken as concrete fact, meanwhile the average person wont question him because of his credentials and perceived expertise.
Even on the "ALIEN" topic here, he played on our emotions stating the FACT that OUR ANCESTORS BUILT THE PYRAMIDS ALONE (which ofcourse they did) but then used that to dismiss the notion of ALIENS existing at all. Then says "WHY WONT THEY JUST LAND IN THE MIDDLE OF NYC?" Yet he also KNOWS the very PLAUSIBLE reason why they wouldn't land in a BIG CITY. He knows how WE AS PEOPLE TREAT OUTSIDERS, FOREIGNERS, OR BEINGS THAT WE FEAR & HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF. We'd attack, kidnapped, murder, and dissect them. He knows this. He's carismatic and cleverly disingenuous at the same time.
RevolutionaryINK He didn't say aliens don't exist at all. He merely pointed out that the evidence that they have visited earth is flimsy at best. Which it is.
RevolutionaryINK yea the thing about science is that if it can't be proven, it's not true. there is no room for maybe.
RevolutionaryINK Neil isn't one of those scientists though. If he was the type to conform to "governing bodies" he'd be one of the scientists denying climate change, but he isn't. As far as aliens go he wasn't dismissing their existence at all. He's stated before that he believes intelligent life is likely to be out there. Even in this interview he stated he'd like to explore moons like Europa because he thinks they might contain life. As far as aliens interfering with our history or visiting us it's best to think of it objectively, otherwise it can limit the way you see things.
***** how is what you said different from what I said?
In my opinion the great thing about an actual scientist is they want the truth, so if you can scientifically prove them wrong they in a sense love it. As Neil said they are always at the drawing board. Science is built on each other's discoveries. Yes, scientists have peer groups, but they are there to make sure the data supports the results. Sure, they're scientists who're paid by certain companies to design their experiments to fit the desire of the company but that isn't science. And Neil isn't like that.
***** I'd be scared if an alien race showed up because you're right. They could blow us up immediately. Though in my mind I think an alien race that advanced wouldn't never be hostile, and I'm not saying you were applying this by your statement. They've obviously explored the universe so they realize life is precious. Plus they wouldn't need anything from us because they can gather resources for any other planet/solar system/galaxy. I bet they'd watch us like a reality TV show...we'd be their Real World The Earth
great show ,amazing guest
This was a great interview! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nerds are becoming cooler in the Hip-Hop world!
Love this guy. He has that charismatic intellect that keeps you engaged.
He's full of shit hate to tell you
zoepound please elaborate.
Zoe is a flat Earther, being that intellectually bankrupt prevents him from being able to elaborate.
Neil just has such a great way of explaining concepts that are difficult for me to wrap my head around. I wish every teacher/lecturer I had was like him. He's just so easy to understand.
This was a great interview.
Thanks, Sway!
I'm glad to see science getting popular. And it's good to have ambassadors like NDT. He entertaining and he's a person of color. The latter being important. I loved science as a kid and listened to anyone of any race (Carl Sagan is one of my favorites) but i wish i would have had a NDT around when i was younger. Perhaps it would've spurred me more into exploring a career in science.
I know some think he's just trying to get some shine but I don't have a problem with his "celebrity". We need to get science out to more people and making it entertaining is a great way to do it. As long as the promotion of science and using science to understand our world remains at the forefront.
Mr DeGrasse is a very intelligent man
Neil is a national treasure. This man explains science to people and makes it understandable
Thanks so much for posting :)
Carl Sagan has been reborn ....and rather weirdly again the origin is New York.... has to be something in the water... guy below pointed out that the entire vid was 23 minutes... and that it felt like 5... Thats cos Tyson has invented time travel.
+Mick Wright Carl Sagan lowkey appointed Neil to be his successor.
chillhomie7 You realize that Sagan died in 1996? and that Tyson does not currently work for JPL? He's the director of the Hayden Planetarium....where he's been since 1996. (well in point of fact he's had a few directorships and positions since 1991)
So although the two met before Tyson entered university.... I don't really see a dead man supporting a live one for any position.... plus the live one would need also to actually have skills in public speaking. Tyson only started publicly speaking about science to the general population around 2000 or so...
However maybe he's just a good orator? Cos you can appoint anyone you like to any position... but that won't give him the skills to do the job.
Mick Wright I just think it was cool how Sagan saw the potential in Neil so early. He gave him a signed copy of Cosmos, He invited him over to his house, and he wrote a letter to him to try and get him to consider going to Cornell university. On top of that its amazing that he ended up becoming the host for the Cosmos reboot. Thats why I said "lowkey", he obviously didn't make him his successor but it was almost as if he did. You ain't gotta over think man.
Tyson hasn't invented anything but a clown show
+chillhomie7 no one overthinks you all underthink and sagan was no genius and all he did was encourage a young fan. Typical behavior in this world. Idiots need to learn to think. Neal is a poor excuse for science and an embarrassment to the world and science
Area 52 is where they build aliens, Neil!
good one, lol!
Hanger 52
greatest sway video ever
I love that Mitch Hedburg drop!! Props
Tyson's arguments and educational background are solid. He sometimes comes off as arrogant but so far, he can back it up and explain to you why you're wrong. It stings but has to happen lol.
Niel degrasse tyson for PRESIDENT!!!!!
Neil isn't a leader. He is an educator. He's simply here to educate those who want to make a difference to our society.
A magnificent interview.
That's awesome that Neil quoted Mitch Hedberg, "big foot is blurry."
put the phone away sway
It's got notes and stuff for the interview
Tyson Dai If all you do is read off your phone...anyone could be an interviewer.
1. Being competitive means actually knowing about your guest so you don't need to look stuff up in the middle of the show...like I said in that case anyone could do the job.
2. Not everyone wants to be an interviewer? Why would he have a radio show if he didn't want to be one?
My point was if he doesn't want to be an interviewer as you say, then why did he get a job as one?
He should be researching his guests beforehand rather than being glued to the phone during the interview...
