Marvelous. As an older violist who started violin at age 45 - originally a classical pianist - I’m deeply grateful for this exploration in first position. Starting in a higher position has never felt right to me, especially as I play with no chin rest nor shoulder rest. I was probably born 200 years too late. Anyway, thank you so much. I appreciate you.
