I have been playing the core heroes in different aspects lately as well. This was inspirational and fun to watch. I felt your pain in the first game. I also laughed at your pain when you drew SOP the second time. Thanks for playing.
He does alright in Leadership too. You can still run 'Plasma Pistol'/s, but also...
There are several quite cheap Avenger Allies with Energy resource if you wanna lean more into 'Repulsor Blast' - cheaper and no flight required for high damage. And you can run 'Reinforced Suit', a tech upgrade for allies which also has energy resource. Allows for allies to spend a few turns thwarting down that main whilst you still build in AE as an option.
Some mental resource allies are still a good choice for those that come with 'draw/s'.
Now even better with 'Suit Up'.

I know it is not," a play style", choice for you,or at least ,I haven't seen you play it much...,but, any chance of a Aggression Aspect play with a character NOT associated with that Aspect?
Would love to see you re - visit a Black Widow or maybe a She- Hulk game with a more recent Villain to see if the older Heroes can stack up to them.
