    "Can I backtrack on that?"
My house uses the rationale that there is nothing wrong with re-ordering your actions as long as the action you are backtracking on has not given you information you otherwise wouldn't have had (such as drawing a card or looking at a hidden card, like the top card of the encounter deck).
Alternateively, ask yourself this question: if you forgot to add threat to the main scheme at the start of the villain phase, would you still add it, or conveniently forget it? Most of us would still at it, so having the villain and the heroes by the same rules is only fair.

I like to give myself one "oops" a game where if I make an obvious misplay I'll re-do it. But to prevent myself from going overboard I limit it to 1. Doesn't work for everyone, but works for me. My brain overloads on actions sometimes.

    "You took everything from me!"
Good playthrough. Was fun to watch.

26:24 You draw 3 cards, because you have Pietro on the field. Also, you don't get retaliated when you defeat an enemy. GGs, nice game! I always get anxious when the first main scheme pops with Thanos.

Do you choose to not play standard 3 for the Shadows meme or is there a different reason? I find standard 3 a much more smooth and overall better way to play the game. I understand you might not share that opinion was just curious as to way you opt for normal standard instead. Great gameplay and video.

I’m indifferent about standard 3. I think, for me, it’s about the same as standard one. But I enjoy both for sure

Do side schemes that add an extra boost icon to encounter cards count when your playing cards like molecular decay and hex bolt?

    • @D20Woodworking
      @D20Woodworking  2 месяца назад +1

They do not. Only counts during enemy activation

Nice game :) Why didn't you include "The Sorcerer Supreme"? Its imo a must have for all mystics :)

Probably because he only has one copy of the card and moving that thing around is annoying!

16:15 Huge rule mistake, since Thanos gain retaliate 1 on his next stage. You would have lose the tough that you used going into the next stage. You would have literally died on the villain phase because he attacked again with overkill.
18:05 and 19:11 You use chaos control twice in this phase.
Also, good news getting shadows means all your boost icon count for one more. So you did more damage and you had Quicksilver (Superpowered Siblings) so you had more than enough. Well done

I am going to be honest, I have never heard of this or ever seen anyone play this way. Someone else said this is the way you play and I do not understand that ruling at all. So I have submitted a question to FFG about this. Because this makes zero sense to me. But I appreciate you pointing it out!

I... don't think that's correct. He does not have retaliate when doing the Molecular Decay, only after when the attack has already resolved. So subsequent attacks would cause retaliate but that attack would not retaliate so he still keeps the tough.

I mean, I always assume it goes with the retaliate rule into next stage like expert venom goblins or venom. However, you do make a good point on the when revealed.

@syamealleon5587 They... still wouldn't retaliate, even in the instance you described. They need to be flipped first to gain retaliate and the attack would already be resolved when the villain flips so there wouldn't be retaliate

@@caseydeere1525 acording to current rulings, they do retaliate
idk where people get this "attack resolution" thing, because i haven't seen anything about it in the rules reference... AFAIK retaliate always happens after the attack has resolved since the enemy needs to survive the attack in order to retaliate, so it works more like a response rather than an interrupt
