How crazy is it, over 7000 people in watch this video? That’s a lot of people if you think about it, please keep the content up. The best channel for fishing out there. Gives a entertaining, and realistic feel for what to expect. Love it man!
Your fishing in my area, i love to see how youre doing out there. Ive been getting fair numbers of small stripers lately around cape and indian river too. Tight lines !!
I freaking love your Amberjack challanges Josh. Beeing a sport fishing guide in Sweden I cant really relate to the strength in these salt water fishes but I would do anything in the world to experience it since It's been a dream of mine for ages.
I definitely agree there has been a decline in the east coast shore fishery's. I fish primarily out of LBI N.J. 10-12 years ago I would hammer doormat sized fluke on the jettys. There was also plenty of stripers, blues, croaker, sea robins, stargazers. In a single day I could catch a good variety of species. Now a days you gotta grind all day for a few odd blues and stripers.
Been living in SW Fl for past 8 years...love the grouper fishing, but man I miss the flounder, blues, and bass. Grass is always greener I guess... Glad to see the fishing is good!! Looking forward to more videos!!
I was stationed in Aberdeen back in the 80s and early 90s and they were slot limited back then, and just as hard to catch, like you said, just the same some of the best striper fishing I ever saw... tight lines...
There's a number of spots I've been fishing for a long time in CT. Some spots hardly produce action like they once did while targeting stripers, blues, and fluke. I can still remember nailing stripers and bluefish with topwater and plugs from a breakwater jetty in June 2010 and getting into a number of insane topwater bites while wading shallow flats on the outgoing in June 2012. I used to catch numerous fluke on spoons and plugs while wading a very long reef, but it's very hard these days.
NIce work C$, I was out there last week after the storms came through, muddy water made things challenging but got on a decent bluefish bite near the inlet. Last year sucked, gotta take what you can get in DE.
Hey Chris, shoutout to one of my favorite Philebrities. I ran into you this time last year and you were JIGGING flatheads at the fairmount dam like a beast. I appreciate your craft man, thanks for the videos always, even on the tough days you seem to come through with some nice fish. Tight lines, see you around I'm sure.
Someone got a nice Christmas present!?!?! Looks like you got yourself a nice Van Staal VS series reel, with that Shadow Surf!!! Please do a review! tell us how well Fancy gear holds up compared to all the Shimano, Penn et al, you have laid to waste! also how do you like Bail less on the surf? can you do a video on that?
I was just fishing for blues in the Raritan Bay. I was using fresh bunker chunks and got absolutely no bites the whole day. Only thing I caught was a serious sun burn lol. I haven’t used lures yet so I don’t know what works and what doesn’t. Can you tell me what’s the best lures to use?
I used 3 rods/reels... 7', 10', 12'. shimano saros 2500, saragosa 6000 and a Van Staal 200. 8lb nanofil on the light rod, 50lb braid on the 10'/gosa and 50lb braid on the VS
Is it just me or does the rod that Sam initially used for an AJ somehow end up broken in the rod holder in the background once they start using the other rod?
The amount of juvenile bass, "schoolies", up and down our beaches and estuaries in New Jersey has without question grown significantly in 10 years! With that point being made, Migratory patterns change, and these fish follow the bait this is not always present along our coastlines - there are many seasons where these fish track well offshore. Our coastline has been RAVAGED by events following superstorm sandy, and the beach replenishment efforts has WITHOUT QUESTIONS destroyed habitat and some of the forage that our bass have fed on (case in point CALICO CRABS!). Once things settle down, and there is more stability in our ecosystem, everyone will see that these fish are not in danger and they are present in huge numbers. Sidestory, a friend of mine who knows a few scallopers in central NJ has reported, over the last 4-5 winters/early springs that there are HUGE schools of bass way offshore, we're talking 20 + miles, and these schools are MILES long and many feet deep. With all of that said, I applaud your conservation efforts and discussion Chris. You are a terrific fisherman! What we need is strong, accurate empirical data of our stocks from all of the "sources" (Hudson, Chesapeake, etc) and we can truly get an accurate assessment of what's out there. This means not just sampling the same areas that have been sampled since the moratorium ended in the mid 80's - our data gatherers MUST go out and find these bodies of fish to accurately assess where we are!!!
I totally agree we need more data. also agree beach replenishment has really had a negative impact on our surf fishery. I have heard a lot about offshore schools of bass, 5-20 miles off especially in the fall it seems these fish hardly come within 3 miles. The chesapeake fish really seem to be hurting the most, I hear the reports from friends in the potomac and susquehanna flats and it isnt good. The eastern shore rivers like choptank and nanticoke where bass historically exist in the spring have been worse year after year at least based on rumors I hear from tackle shops and friends down there. Are those fish dead or do they simply stay out in the main chesapeake bay, no way to know without proper data. I believe up until 2011 or so we had one of the most robust populations we ever had coastwide and the fish have been in decline ever since, at least thats what I see in our inshore waters. deep down I do believe these fish are just staying offshore for longer periods of time. Couple bad seasons followed by a hot season, its like where did these fish come from.. Its not hard to run 7 miles off in decemeber and find the biomass. what that biomass looked like 10 years ago though I do not know. I do know I used to catch 15-30lb bass every spring and fall in the schuylkill river but since 2012 or so that run has totally disappeared. The fall run in the inlets and backbays has also virtually disappeared. again, those fish might not be gone, they could just be offshore, but we have no idea whats happening without good data.
How much is Jersey making annually on fishing tackle probably about a billion just like here in Maryland so my question is, why are we still forced to get a fishing license ?
bunker jumping is often just bunker feeding on micro organisms, if you see bunker spraying like clearly getting attacked then wooden swimmers, big poppers, big shads or snag n dropping the bunker will usually work. Ive seen plenty of jumping bunker this year but have yet to see any fish on them.
I fish for stripers every weekend two hours before high tide in cohasset mass. With a chunk of mackerel till two hours after and slay huge stripers every time with my dad! Both of us! We call it the spot!
I have no flathead vids in the works, flounder just opened and theres a lotta saltwater fish to be caught, maybe this summer Ill get some flathead vids out, we'll see.
Dude guys are still keeping everything they catch to this day. Everywhere around here. Even in the lakes around here they keep everything. Nobody has any common sense or care , expect for themselves.
not sure if youre angry I kept those blues or if youre just pointing out that people generally destroy their environment? I am pretty conservation minded I release most of my fish but if a friend says he wants blues I have no problem keeping him a couple or even a limit as blues are pretty abundant.

Good stuff!
thanks mang
This was an enjoyable video with a combo of stripers, blues and flounder. Looking forward to seeing some more. Take care Sea-Money.

Glad you decided the storm/lightning was too much. Life to fish another time another day. Luv these videos..,
Sea money has the best fishing videos on U tube hands down
Good video, keep them coming! I fish the outer banks mostly...
The first cast first chunk is love
haha after multiple skunks in the dark, catching one first cast that day was sick. definitely siked

Canin kelso not sure how true that is, I caught yellow jacks in the Newark Bay last summer. Catching Yellow jacks in Bayonne NJ is pretty unheard of.

Nice one bud! Blue fish seem like a blast! Way to turn lemons to lemonade!
Always dig your videos keep it up
Nice video love to see the blues
Great video bro! Nice blues and bass. I got spooled by something in the bay the other day. Thinking shark
sharks and big rays usually the culprit. coulda been anything though who knows
@@ChrisMcIntee thanks for the reply I know you're busy. Keep up the great videos man. You help a lot of people
Nice man, nice too see there still some bass around.
Great stuff sea money, haven’t gotten my bass or blues this summer heading to mass to fish

Diawa so minnow last master spoon deadly dick bucktail these are all good lures to use
Diawa sp minnow cast master spoon
Wish you would explain why you couldn't take the striped bass.. had to look it up.
i would release them anyway just cuz the fishery needs all the help it can get but yea delaware you have to release fish 37”-44”.
Another awesome video. What's your setup in this video? Size of reel, rod length, etc? Lbs line? Leader?
I used 3 rods/reels... 7', 10', 12'. shimano saros 2500, saragosa 6000 and a Van Staal 200. 8lb nanofil on the light rod, 50lb braid on the 10'/gosa and 50lb braid on the VS
Nice healthy fish
Rod was in my mouth so I couldn't talk, what she said last night 😂🤣😁
Screw that, man. Lightning is the only weather I will not fish in. No fish is worth getting fried.
I used to get them on Panther Martin PMDG in 1/4oz... Tons of fun...
If you don’t mind me asking where was the 2nd beach you were fishing to catch that striped?
Hey you were fishing on the pier that my tackle shop is at, pretty small world
sweet. delaware is a small state haha
Nice Bass! (Bass is Bass ha!)
Always enjoy your vids.
Nice fishing!
Nice Stripers!!
Is it just me or does the rod that Sam initially used for an AJ somehow end up broken in the rod holder in the background once they start using the other rod?
Wish they’d put a zero limit on bass for 2 years or so

WHICH PART OF DELAWARE ARE YOU GOING?
Can I ask why you don’t use pliers on bluefish?
Great video
liked it before even watching llol
Whats your jigging rod and reel set?
fishing is ruff here in Washington state to, I think thats everywhere.
Nice fishing, good job 👍👍
How much is Jersey making annually on fishing tackle probably about a billion just like here in Maryland so my question is, why are we still forced to get a fishing license ?
Huck Fin ...well the money from the tackle goes to the shops, the money from the license goes to the fish/game commission. it’s pretty obvious lol
love your vids
COOL VIDEO 👍
Saludos amigo muy buena pesca y ke lindo lugar mi gran amigo
Nice stripers!!! Best game fish in Northeast. Practice catch and release to those who do not. Harvest sparingly.
Hahaha I’m hot its 72 degrees , it was 101 here today
What size surf rod?
smart move to get out of there. So, what is the recent deals with your cameras not working. keep it up
gopros kinda just suck in general, its not recent, its been happening for as long as Ive used gopros.
What reel do you have on the shadow? Is the shadow a 9'6 or 10 foot?
Love your videos! Always fun to watch and informative.
Ive got a saragosa 6000 on there, I have the 10' MH
Thanks 💲!
What lure I should use when u see bunker jumping. I seen people useing them but they don’t hit just on cut bait.
bunker jumping is often just bunker feeding on micro organisms, if you see bunker spraying like clearly getting attacked then wooden swimmers, big poppers, big shads or snag n dropping the bunker will usually work. Ive seen plenty of jumping bunker this year but have yet to see any fish on them.
awesome content!
That sun at sea level is brutal.

Tin snips> scissors for cutting bait (but only if you actually care).
Fuckin Right, hell yeah
Fluke limits 18 inches in jersey
I live in Maryland and I’ve seen the significant drop in the population and I just stop fishing for them overall
maryland/va seems to be seeing the worst of it. Chesapeake sure was an amazing fishery back in the day.
Remember the Moratorium well.No fun.
A legend lmao
🤙🤙
Where fishing pls
