Terminator Salvation is like that teenager whose grown his first moustache; a sincere attempt, and kinda impressive, but it don’t make him mature
Terminator Jynysys is the teenager who thought he could grow a full beard, but all he could manage was a scraggly, patchy mess.
So guys are so freaking funny! Been a fan for a long time. I work from home and sit at my desk all day, so having good stuff to listen to is essential. Love it when I see a new commentary pop up because I know I'm in for some insane laughs along with some good film info/criticism. Nice to see guys on here who actually know their shit. Cheers!

This is a better made film than 3 but like you said it doesn't feel like a Terminator movie.
Why did I not know about or find this channel sooner? Loved it when these two did commentaries with Oliver. Just as good here too. Keep em coming guys.

I haven't watched this film in years, so dont remember it that well. I'm listening to this commentary without Terminator Salvation running, and the commentary makes it sound like the greatest movie ever made, nuclear subs, giant robots, robot motorcycles etc!
I believe Terry Crews cameos as a dead body cos he originally had a bigger part but his scenes were cut.
Also Richard as you mention not liking McG's work I was wondering if you've seen his Netflix film The Babysitter? Which imo is a fantastic movie.
This is my 2nd favourite Terminator movie as it's really the only one that isn't a repeating the first movie
The female Resistance fighter wanting to have sex with Marcus Wright after nearly being gang raped shows the amount of thought that went into this movie.
Obviously love all the Terminator stuff you guys discuss over the years. Is there any chance you guys could do script discussions on the original Terminator 3 and 4 scripts. T3 being the most interesting, completely diffrent from the film we got. If you guys have the time then please look into these, they should be available on the terminatorfiles related info.
Cheers VVB Boys! 1:16:30 -'> Our VFX crew did the Dark Fate beach scene. Fun scene to be a part of. Modelers used a lot of reference from HK miniature models from T2. We utilized tons of reference stills (plasma rifles, HKs, T800s) and video. You guys would have shit. Ultimately we used the T800 models from Genysis (already 3D modeled) with the different chest chasity that resembles the Cyberdyne logo). Replaced stuntmen in mocap suits with T800s. It was mental. Those beach obstacles are called Czech Hedgehogs shot on a beach in Spain(I believe)! We take the piss out of these too.

Luke Tebb It looks terrible. Asexual terminator (box ticked) with liquid metal effects worse than T2. Very impressive 😭
Didn't know about the asexual terminator, haven't seen the latest trailer cause they tend to give away spoilers now - the more Terminators they make, the more back catalogue of bad installments there'll be. If they'd left it as T1 and T2, the franchise would be two classics instead

its just differ from what everyone knows about the World of Terminator that it becomes something else completely. Its biggest sin is creating a different future world then what the series had already set up in 1 and 2. Genesys got it 50% right but still not it
Also a robot the size of a Terminator would have a bunch of electric motors, which are also quite heavy, maybe they weigh 800 lbs or kilos? T800, heh?
Great listen as always, chaps. But... Terminator commentary again? I feel like all things Terminator have been done and done to death again and again. It's time to move onto the usual titles.

This sounds ridiculous, but I always figured Skynet knew about Kyle Reese from finding the T850 from Terminator 3. Which could've escalated the situation, your enemy knowing events that will play out.
They could access all the data in the world so they likely had access to the files from the cops.

Val Verde Broadcasting I had a Scooby Snack in Glasgow once. It was a banger, multiple pieces of bacon, a fried egg, and a beef patty on top of a roll. That was 20 years ago and I’m still not fully recovered.
