Really appreciate the DIY menu meals. Good useful vid and the recipe is posted so I don't have to rewind to catch all the ingredients. Thanks for sharing
Nice! glad to see you back! Somehow your last 2 videos before this one got past me without me noticing. I will watch them too. Thanks for sharing!! Good to see you!
You always have the coolest camp meal recipe and cooking videos, Tom! The French onion ramen meal looked delicious! Hope all's well in the back woods....really enjoyed the beautiful scenery slide show, too. Thumbs up. Don
You can not beat Harmony House for dehydrated vegetables. I like to use their vegetable soup mix ( three tablespoons ) and the dehydrated cabbage ( one & 1/2 tablespoon ) in with Ramen noodles. I use the seasoning pack that comes with the noodles and a good splash of some Louisiana Hot Sauce. Now I will have to try yours, it sure sounds good.
Hot sauce makes everything better :D There soup mix is great! I have just purchased Augason Farms Stew mix and I'm really happy so far. I might do a review of it soon.
I'm a bachelor and a motorcyclist, more so than a backpacker. The thought of a good meal and no dirty dishes while doing what I love is my eternal quest.
Another awesome recipe, those flavor packs, mostly sodium really suck! I ordered one of those sample packs from harmony house and love it, the cabbage and leeks, green onions are my favorite for doctoring up ramen. I usually tear up jerky or add tuna as the protein in mine. Thanks this adds some more ideas to my food bag.
Agree with you about HH, I haven't made the leap to TVP yet, I thought I remember a really good video, think it was yours about making gravel from ground beef, sounds better to me.
Have you tried taking couscous? That's my pasta of choice on the trail because it packs smaller and takes even less boiling time. And it comes in whole wheat, if you prefer. Thanks for this recipe. I'll have to give it a try.
nice idea. been using Knorrs rice meals, but looking for something possible faster. It seems you could it it in less then 10 minutes. but if not then this still sounds good.
I like ramen with peanut butter and egg, at home. Not sure how to take the egg into the back country. Not sure freeze dried / frozen would be the same.
Powdered egg taste different but Ova easy egg crystals taste the best IMHO..You might give it a try. Packing frozen eggs in a nalgene container works great for them quick trips. Thanks for watching schmoly!

I'm thinking this could be a great freezer bag meal. Ramen with almost any freeze dried or dehydrated goodies will work.
That's right Robert. All of my recipes are backpacking friendly . Thanks for watching!
