On console you can be pedestrians, animals and even birds which you can control. Birds would give a great cinematic effect
There is a cinematic feature on console. You can’t control it bye your self but it works.

First of all: absolutely amazing build! But I am a bit confused, it says console, it says vanilla, but I see parts I do not have on PS5.. like the buildings at 0:20 or the big building at 2:00 How is that??
Thank you so much. At 0:20, the buildings at the background is the Gherkin, part of the base game. The tall tower is part of Pearl of The Orient. The building at foreground is part of the High-Tech Buildings DLC.
The building at 2:00 is included in Heart of Korea DLC. You should have these buildings if you have the DLC.

Just brilliant! When I saw the vines hanging from that elevated path at the start of the video, I knew we were going to see something special. Patience like that pays off in many different ways. This is easily one of the best vanilla cities ever, PC included. Also kudos for buying the game and DLC for the price of a new car. Thank you for sharing!

I've had to come back, watch again, and write this. I watched for the sheer joy such excellent work invokes. I'm writing because this work deserves a bigger audience (algorithm). The time and effort invested in this is incredible. However, the result is truly extraordinary. I hope many more people get to see this amazing work of art and appreciate it fully for what it is. I've previously felt some satisfaction for simply having a reasonable traffic score. Now I see that my own efforts were very poor indeed. I should feel a little sad I suppose, but I actually feel uplifted. When a great work is accomplished everyone profits.

This is amazing! But how to you pan around without pop in? I’m playing the remaster on PS5 and there’s SO much pop in..
I can understand the prostration. Yeah, there's a lot in PS4, but I thought there's less on PS5. Anyway, I just keep the zoom level at constant when panning.
Wow what a great city. Is this city bigger than the 9 tiles limit you have on concol if it is could you tell me the mod you are using. I really enjoy making City’s but it is annoying only having 9 tiles worth of space
Thank you so much 😊. This is 9 tiles only, no mods available on PS4 for that. You can have 25 tiles if you play on PS5 or Xbox Series S/X

The other one is from South Korea. Then the bunch of Skyscrapers are from Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Germany, etc..

One thing about your cities you always kept it nice and detailed with the landscaping, I wish I had the patience for that lol. I just pile up a bunch of bushes in certain areas and keep it movin😅
Once I starts detailing an area, I can't stop. But most of the times, I procrastinate 🤣

Really likes the honeycomb affect on some of the roads! I love this game so much but have a really rough time with the terrain tools and getting things straight and not angled. I’m gonna have to start watching some tutorials on how to better soften terrain. Amazing build!

Two things amaze me about this as a console player myself.
1-the size, with 9 tiles I feel like I don't have room to do massive road layouts and interchanges like seen here. I guess I'm wrong.
2-the color, it's probably just my TV or something you are doing on the back end, but I have never seen such vivid colors on my game.

I imagine it must piss you modded off who spend all your time making these lovely cities only for skylines to run in n getting in your maps with their new updates where they ruin mods and never bother to fix important stuff like invisible buses for left hand traffic.
as a console player, I fell inspired by your city. I even made a list of ideas to do in my city while a was seeing your video. That comercial buildings with amusement park features is incredible

You do for sure. Its about having a fun and a relaxing exp. Using footpaths to lay quay’s. Build an oil industry peninsula and cargo harbor. That trick /tip alone made the game a whole lot more fun. Beautification video also awesome. Using 6 lane roads on a crossing ! Etc etc. So yeah its not only inspiring you made my game exp way better sir. (Englisch is not my native language as you can notice sorry for that 😅)

How long did this take you to complete? It is amazing for console. It puts a lot of PC players to shame.
Edit: Its hard to choose but my favorite part is there at the end. The Water bridge is so cool. And the view of the skyline from the water bridge is amazing as well. It would be very difficult to find a console city that i like more than this one.

Amazing designs so much style in a compact package that just merges into its surroundings the flow is something else so well planned its hard to pick one area as a fav cause they are so cohesive but the port hit me hard it reminds me of the waterfront where i grew up and for that its a wwinner ty for sharing your 1 of a kind amazing build....

I love the cooler colors how did you do that on console? Mine are so bright and vibrant and the colors are oranges. Even the roads look orange 😂
If your TV or monitor has color setting options, you can adjust the color temperature. On the video post processing, I just reduced the redness, basically making the color cooler. Thank you.

Hey Ricky, love this video.greag stuff. Out of interest, with tree placement in vanilla it seems to randomly choose the size of the tree or bush on placement, is there not a way to select the size when doing individual placement?
Thanks, Ande. Unfortunately, we cannot select the size. I usually just delete and place until the right size comes out. Just press square, x, repeatedly.
@@RickyKingPlays yeh it's a bit annoying but in fairness it least ensures there is a bit of variety. Still trying to work out how to show terrain height whilst building roads, on pc it's really easy to do, as you just choose overlay once you are in build mode.
Every credit to you as I know how hard it can be at times to build a city such as yours on console. Am still trying 😭😂.

Thanks. :) The North American is in the base game, it's the default when your using temperate map. On European map, you have to select it from the district type option. The Mid-Century Modern is a CCP.

Which DLC do you have? As someone who just got started on XBOX One with vanilla base game, I don't even see how this is possible. Is this free mode?
I have all DLCs except Campus and Financial Districts. This was built with unlimited money.
What tile configuration did you use? (map size, but you can have 3x3 tiles, 2x4+1 tiles, etc.)

Using the decals on the Interchange's embankment was a very clever idea. I also like how you built the linear promenade surrounding the P&P unique building & integrated it with the tram network, I hated the forced yellow stone and just covered it with trees.

Maybe just hundreds. Lol. I only use mouse for placing trees on a line. You can already use mouse and keyboard on console, but not as good as PC though.
This is an amazing city which gives me new ideas for my own builds! My favorite part was how you did the JWST Housing in a hexagonal design. I'll definitely be trying that out soon :)

The questions is, do you do this with unlimited resources such as money, or not? Cuz I feel like a cheater with the "cheats" on. But at the same time, I feel like I wouldn't be able to accomplish this level of build without it. 😕
when you first play this game, you play without unlimited money, resources etc to understand the game.
after some time, you don't do it anymore because you understand everything. your objective is now to build a beautiful city..
i dont think anyone want to play without "cheats" after at least 1 year of experience.
@@reizalash1443 I do. I feel having unlimited resources and the likes hampers my creativity. Don't know why. I like the slow progression and having to manage budget and plan ahead especially with Random disasters
The good thing is we can play it either way. I have the trophy enabled save as well. But this build gives me freedom to be creative. Just think how expensive terrain manipulation is.
