- I can't believe this happened. WHY does this always happen to me. I aim, I fire... and.... I think that I hit the deer but instead I completely miss. Classic. But I can't harp on it too much, off to the next adventure and have to keep hunting until I get another shot. SPOILER ALERT... I get another shot :)

Hi, I'm Allie! I'm an archer, hunter, angler, and public lands advocate. But really, I'm lover of all things outdoors! I enjoy sharing my adventures here on RUclips including the good and the bad. Learning how to enjoy the outdoors is a PROCESS and I'm here to share mine with you.

Fun video, Allie; thank you! Looking forward to the "to be continued" follow-up to see who scored the nice buck. Not that hard to miss from elevation, that is why I am glad that so many of the ranges where I can practice have 20' elevated platforms.
Ya, more elevated practice for me in the future!
Where's the love for the Canadian freedom convoy ?
Enjoyed the video, looking forward to " To be continued "..
More to come!
Great job Nick. Great deer. I really like to watch your hunting videos because your showing real hunting situations. You're not hunting a fancy cultivated field with deer that have been fed corn all year, I wish I was as organized as you guys when I hunted. Everything would fall out of my pockets. Great footage,
Thanks for watching James!
Also it may sound stupid but washing with dog shampoo that keeps fleas and ticks off will keep ticks off you hunting I have to use it because when I was a kid I asked god to Make me a chick magnet because of my Accent he thought I said tick magnet and bam tick magnet I am
Cool video. We haven’t got a video like this from you in a while. Update video coming soon???
Working on it now!
Just remember bears are very brutal and they kill a lotfawns
Nice teaser. Part 2 should get interesting. I'm pretty much all saddle, all the time now. I have some small profile stands that I've put new bolts with plastic washers & nuts on them. Remove the seat from them & they r nearly invisible cuz they were camo painted years ago. I leave them hidden in brush piles so I don't have to carry them way back. That way I can saddle hunt a spot & just use them as a foot rest for saddle hunting. On private land I have a stand that I just paracord the seat to the 🌳. Then it can be used for saddle hunting & I can get more angles to shoot while I'm using the tree trunk as cover. Not many telephone pole type trees here & I like it that way. If I'm going scouting in the off-season I give myself to the end of March to setup & then I STAY OUT! Like to leave myself with many options. If u r going to stomp around off season scouting u might as well set yourself up so u give yourself more positive opportunities later. 😁
Yep, exactly right!
Your are great hunter I am big fan of you I want hunting with you
First Lite Sanctuary bibs and jacket. VERY warm and not too bulky. Deadly quiet also!
Yes, I have a pair of the original model. I like them a lot!
It is always your choice in whether or not you harvest any animal. We as hunters play a huge part in conservation and as part of being in the conservation realm, we owe it to the animals to be as ethical and thankful as we can be. They are a renewable resource that was put on this planet for us to harvest. In doing so I believe in my humble opinion that we owe it to them to be as quick with our kills and as respectful as possible. Subjecting ourselves to the roller coaster of emotions we encounter when taking a deer, turkey, or a bear can cloud our ability to do such tasks effectively and errors tend to pop up more. Never pull that release until you know in your heart and mind that you're ready. One of my idols Mr. Rinella says he has a constant forethought to not shoot the bear and to instead watch it. He said he has a tough time seeing that they eat the same foods we do. He'd rather sit and watch a bear all day than stare at a deer all day lol. I've seen others rush those with them to take a shot when that person is unsure. Misses or wounding happens. You got a good heart and mind in the woods. Always follow it.
Thanks for watching and the feedback!
great video allie. what are your thoughts on the fanatic suit? I am not crazy about the pattern mostly (i know camo doesn't completely hide you and sit still, but i feel it may give off a little more "blue" hues from what i have read and heard from others) i am looking at getting a colder weather suit for late archery into rifle season here in northern PA. I was looking at the first lite sanctuary 2.0. any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. looking forward to the next video!
I really like the sanctuary suit. I've literally NEVER been cold while wearing it.
The original sanctuary suit was very nice too, maybe not quite as warm from what I remember but it's been a while. I like the First Lite Cipher pattern a lot!
@@OutdoorsAllie awesome. thanks for the feedback. yes i love the cipher pattern as well. i like that the 2.0 has a wind barrier (as opposed to the solitude) which is big for me and helps reduce layers. perfect and thanks for the feedback! keep on keeping on!
Is this your house wow love it
Awesome buck! Looking forward to the "To be continued..." 😁
Saludos👍
It happens Allie I know the frustration move And more on to the next one good luck in spring gobbler get r done 👍👌👌
Come on part 2 !
There’s always time for deadlifts
Indeed!
Best the COLD and the BULK………..Milwaukee’s heated vest is a Total game changer. I will never hunt cold weather without it. The warmth around your core is truly amazing. No more Bulky layers.
Interesting. I'll check it out!
Great 👍
I love your hunting videos! Your a cute couple! Allie, don't sweat the miss. It happens to us all! Adrenaline cause us to unconsciously pick the wrong pin and there you go. Repetition experience is the cure for that problem.
Thanks for watching William!
Check out asbell wool pathfinder hoodie you will love them not bulky and keeps you nice and warm even if your wet
I'll check it out!
Hello Allie! I see that you are in PA! My name is Harold & I’m Deaf. I’m in NW PA. I love to hunt deer! Thank you for your videos!
Thanks for watching Harold!!
Any recommendations for someone looking to get into archery and hunting? What’s a good bow to start with? How do I go about learning what equipment I need?
Happy to hear that! I have a few videos on those subjects if you look back through some of my old videos! Thanks for watching.
Miss is better than a non recovered deer. All good. You'll get another opportunity!
For sure.
I keep my license and tags in the rear zipper pocket of my Vortex guide pack that’s up against my chest. That way they are secure and safe from the elements.
I used to do the same thing!
Awesome!
👌👍👌

Hi from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures
Thanks for watching Earl!
I'm enjoying your family adventures in hunting and in the wild outdoors
Ready for part 2!
Coming soon!
Nice video, I enjoy it when you keep it real. I watched one of your videos where you adjusted the poundage on your bow after doing some photography/video shoots. I modified my tension screws to track the adjustments. Wish I could send you a photo, so simple.
Sounds interesting!
@@OutdoorsAllie how can I send you a photo?
11:20 sounds like a christmas tree with all that schit hangin out of it
Go Pro makes that noise.
Can’t wait for next episode
Awesome video definitely need to see more. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching Bob!
The extended teaser reel, now we wait. Hopefully you will drop tomorrow.
working on it now!
Miss Allie do u ever think about going after a huge Alaskan bull moose
I'd love to!
Great video as always I have a lightweight Sitka pants and shirt and a medium weight Kuiu pants and shirt and love them both. Where did you get the tick spray? They are really bad in my area of Warren county and I like to get some of that.
It's made by Sawyer Products. You can order it online, might be able to find it at Walmart or Tractor Supply also! It works well. Thanks for watching John!
@@OutdoorsAllie thank you!
Good video 👍🏻 I can't wait to see who got the Buck at the end you or Nick

Of course thanks for the information I love hunting and always live learning more . If you want to hunt North Carolina areas let me know .
Nicks a lucky dude.
Dood is the Dirk Diggler of tree stands...stud.
Hahahahah
Where was this last December when I was looking for an Outdoor Allie fix. That Sawyer tick repellant for your clothes is 100%. Never a tick when that's applied.
Got a little busy! Yes, Sawyer has saved me from lots of nasty tick bites!
Hunting is always good days I like Nick's coveralls I have a pair zipper legs I love them mine are made by walls was wondering what kind he got 🤠🐝
I think they're mossy oak.
Hey Allie, your killing me. Still waiting for your buck. lol
Also, waiting for an invite to dinner.
lol Take care and be safe.
Coming soon!
Thanks for sharing y’all. It’s always a pleasure to follow you ..My freezer is full ‘til fall 2022 ..Hope your there too .. Til next time stay well .
Oh yes, we filled up. Thanks Robert!
Great video as always Allie, I enjoy watching your videos more and more as a fellow PA bow hunter. Keep em coming!
Thank you. Much appreciated!
Great video Allie, Cant wait for the next one to see how you got that stud of a mountain buck.
It's a fun one!
You make a good point about the ease of turning from the standing position. I noticed that when I was out in a ladder stand this season, and I hate the whole turning in your seat move. I definitely need to get my tree saddle stuff going more!
Saddle is the way to go!
Great utube, nice buck.
Thanks Pamela 👍
Allie I enjoy your hunting videos and good Luck you two.
Thanks Jimmy!
Thanks for the video! What an ending, excited for part 2. What Kuiu zip up hoody is Nick wearing? Strongfleece? Looking at a Peloton 240, it looks like he has the vest. Which does he like better? Thanks again!
He says Strongfleece all the way!
@@OutdoorsAllie dang okay, I was pretty much set on the peloton BUT reconsidering now. Might have to take Nick's advice here! Thanks and have a good one!
@@ahoward2333 He used both, but ended up reaching for the strongfleece 90% of the time. Size up!
@Outdoors Allie thanks, super helpful! Appreciate the replies and you taking the time, Nick as well. Best of luck for both of you in 2022!
@@ahoward2333 Of course. You as well!
