I've decided to go down this route after all the work I've done I can't leave a dirty old headliner in. Never done one before but I'm sure I'll learn. I was able to pry the window rubber seals out from the inside, I've heard bad things about aftermarket rubber and know mine don't leak so wanted to keep them.
@@FixinBugsNStuff I might have to email them as I don't see many images of the headlining, I'm wanting something specific and need to see how it looks to head me decide before handing hundreds over. Appreciate the recommendation.
I was hoping not to find anything but, oh well. It’s has to be fixed. It seems the former window seal was leaking and caused this. The will be a video on the fixing this.
Great job explaining how to remove the head liner
nicely done. I am already dreading putting a new headliner in my ragtop 64 and I am no where near that point yet (and probably won't be for years)
This seems to be a hard procedure; I couldn’t do it; I’d look for someone with a lot of experience and get it done right.
You can do it, just takes patience.

Wolfsburg West makes some decent ones.
@@FixinBugsNStuff do you have any idea where I can get a good cloth headliner? I'm in the UK and struggling.
@@GT.Bugger I would buy from Sewfine here in the states.

cevett in the toy box/ and playing with a bug , nice
Very common that these cars rot by the back window when the seal fails. Sometimes the whole rear parcel area is gone.
