Thank you. Yeah that 3m90 I think is the easiest to work with. They do make carpet cement but that stuff is a mess. I remember you complaining about the fumes. It can get a little smelly in the garage. I opened the door and turned a fan on.
Thanks for posting your headliner install video and info. Question, how did it do over time? any observations/words of wisdom? I really like the look, I'm going to do my SB similarly, personally, I really like the look of painted metal with the carpeted square insert!
Love this project btw ... interested to know what you used for the roof insulation please and how you stuck it up .. love the custom touches everywhere
I used 3m 90 to glue it up. The silver stuff is duct insulation. You can get it at Home Depot. The foam I had. The block and gray stuff I got from Home Depot. It’s a light weight carpet.
@@OFFAxisBuildsawesome thank you. the insulation stuff was it for sound deadening... like the peel and stick you used on the rear or just more for the insulation qualities. Cheers
Sorry if I missed it in one of your previous videos. What adhesive did you use to hold up the reflective? Did you use 3M 90 green spray can for the carpet? Thank you for sharing.
That looks great! The two tone provides a really custom look, I like it.
Thank you. It’s definitely turned out better then I thought.
Awesome I did the same thing with my '66. Great work!!
Damn you did a good job on that! That 3M 90 is what I use, good stuff. I did a factory headliner in my last car. What a pain 😡

It was more for insulation.
are the side rails surrounding the headliner upholstered or just painted ?
I painted them to match the rest of the interior.
