Great video. Thank you for a good comparison between these two exceptional keyboards. I have the Fantom 07 now and previously owned the FA06. The Fantom is a definite upgrade over the FA line.
Overall I agree, it's an upgrade. Nevertheless some (important) sounds were downgraded in my opinion. I will probably go with an RD-2000 and return my Fantom-08.
@@Talia.777 ModX would have been a choice before many other options. My problem is, that I am mainly for the lookout of a new keyboard because of a sub-out :/ maybe the next generation will offer this.

In real (i listen your test through my stereo system JBL+ monitor M-Audio) i like incredible more the FA06 and this shocked me.. cause i wanted change my Kurzweil PC4-8 with Fantom 08. i tested KURZ and i found it better than FA, and i suppose Fantom 08 serie was incredible upper than the FA serie. But is not this way. Maybe there're less detail.. armonics but the THIKNESS, the BODY of the sound is really much better in FA! i'm confuse now.. (but sure i will never by FANTOM 0x)..

Can u just tell me about key action and key length of roland fa06 and roland fantom 06 ? Because I played fa06 and I felt the key length like toy. So fantom 06 key is also like that?
For some people, the FA-06's keys are a little short, so it may feel like a toy. However, the FA-06's keyboard is solid, so I like it. On the other hand, the FANTOM-06 is a newly developed keyboard that feels good to play, but the lowest key of the FANTOM-07 on display at the store was making a squeaking sound, so I was a little worried about its durability.

MONTAGE is a music synthesizer, and as a synthesizer it has a thick sound and is very good, but Roland's FANTOM is better in the sequencer part because you can edit each sound one by one and the arrangement of tones for each track is clear. It meets my expectations. Now, the FANTOM-06 is compact, but if you don't care about the price, I'd buy the FANTOM-6 because of the operability of the sliders and buttons, the thickness of the sound, etc. This is a side note...I think the naming of FANTOM and FANTOM-0 is confusing♪

Not an apples to apples comparison. Load the same bank/preset on both, since they should have the same SN-A banks, then compare - otherwise what you're comparing is two different presets.
I sold my FA to get the FANTOM. :-) True, some sounds of the FA were really nice... but the zen core engine could let you recreate them whatever you miss from the FA .
Let's be honest, the FA is far superior with the real supernatural engine. Piano sounds are miles away from F0. The F0 doesn't have a real super natural engine, so there's not the editing options of a virtual instrument. Drums, guitars, pianos, everything is different. That Zen Core is a marketing gimmick, Roland just took the PCM engine and rebranded it. Take the Zen core and compare it to most PCM si the same thing. Now, real super natural is different. I own both, I replaced the juno ds for the F0 and yes it has other features but sound wise is not superior to the FA.

シーケンスなどを組んで曲を作る場合には、FANTOM-06の方が良いと思います。
以前、私はMODX6を持っていましたが、思いついたフレーズをスケッチする等の簡易シーケンサーやパターンシーケンサーしかなく、一音一音編集できる機能が無かったので、手放した経緯があります。
初心者であってもFANTOM-06のシーケンス機能は分かり易いと思いますが、実際、弾いてみることをお勧めします。

I seem to prefer the sound of the Fantom-06. I have a Yamaha DGX-670 and the strings don't sustain with the pedal which for me is horrible.

もう遅いかも知れませんが、V-piano音源があるか、アフタータッチの有無、音が途切れないチャンネル数などの違いが使ってみて大きなところですかね、自分はFANTOM8を持っているのですが、重たいので持ち運びには不便ですね、
あと、ノブなどの数が減ってタッチパネルでの操作が必要になったのにタッチパネルが小さくなったのでやりにくいと思います。

ちょうどシンセ購入を検討していてJUNOかFAか迷っててFAにしようと思ってたところだったのですが、動画拝見したらFANTOMのほうが音が断然いいからまた迷い始めました。。録音機能的にはFAのほうが自分のやりたいこと出来そうなのですがもう8年も前の機種になっているということだし悩ましいです。
変拍子（1小節ごとに6拍子と7拍子が入れ替わるような）の曲をコピーしたいのですがシンセだとそういう打ち込みは難しそうでしょうか。やっぱりPCでソフトで打ち込むほうが一般的ですかね🤔
FAの録音機能は通常のシーケンサなので、FAの方がFITする方もいるかもしれませんね。来週はFA06の簡単な録音の仕方を演奏付きでご紹介する予定です。変拍子は、PCソフトの方が操作しやすいかもしれませんね♪

FANTOM-0が多機能で上位な機種ですが、最近出たJUNO-Dはシンプルな操作で音が良く、使いやすそうです。JUNO-Dは音色も追加されているので、良さそうですね☺

FAはシンセなので、電子ピアノのP-225とは比較するとなると難しいですね…ジャズピアノを弾くとしたらP-225を選びますし、エレピの音はFAが大好きです♪

konoさん RolandのFANTOMとFANTOM-0についてですが、気になる動画を見てしまいました。
音色をレイヤーした場合に同時発音数に制限がかかり、音が出なくなったり、音途切れを発生するようです。
動画がFANTOMですがFANTOM-06でも発生するようで、FAでは発生しないようです。
お手数ですが、お手元にFANTOM－06がまだあったら、お暇なときで結構ですので、調べて頂けませんか？英語なのでイマイチはっきり理解できませんが、高価なFANTOMがこのような問題を仕様として抱えているとしたら気になってしようがありません。

ご紹介頂いた動画は、何を問題としているのかが良く分かりませんでしたので、どのように私が検証して良いか分かりません…
ちなみに、FANTOM-06の説明書には、同時に鳴らす楽器のパートの数が多い場合、同時発音数が128 を超えると音が途切れるとの記載があります。３音色を重ねて鳴らすと42音までしか鳴らすことができないと思います。加えてサスティンペダルを音を途切れさせたくない（抜けさせたくない）場合、パートでのボイス・リザーブ数を予め設定することができます。
