  • @kaorukashin

    the airplane in the video is a Embraer-145 50 pax, 2 flight attendants... There is another airplane of 32pax Dornier-328 which is just for one flight attendant. There were not any male flight attendants, just 2 or 3 in the whole company. But for example in Avianca there are many male FAs. Copa and Lan hires only women I think... no, we didn't use to split teams, it was a small airline.

    exactly Vincent! You just basically have to prepare very very well for the interview, or the prelimicary tests, you can prepare yourself on the Internet or if you have the money study in an academy specialised for on board services... Have a look at the video called: How I got my job as a Flight Attendant here on RUclips

  • @kaorukashin
    @kaorukashin  12 лет назад

    @Broadcasting1996 no, just that you can't fly that day, but you can also receive a written notice which goes to your CV.

  • @kaorukashin
    @kaorukashin  12 лет назад

    Those are Coombian aviation regulations (and I think they are internatiotional too) for every 30 pax there must be one FA so it always depends on the airplane configuration.

  • @kaorukashin
    @kaorukashin  12 лет назад

    Yes of course, sometimes the turbulence is so strong that you get sick and have headaches, and obviously you get a little afraid but it's rare! ... Yes, we had an emergency once... in a turboprop aircraft (Dornier 328) one engine turned off but that aircraft can fly with just one engine perfectly, so we just came back to the airport and did an emergency landing. nothing happened!

  • @kaorukashin

  • @uwish7
    @uwish7 12 лет назад

    thank you for making this video. The service industry has to deal with different ppl and their personalities. Flying is no longer fun. Too many things that cannot be controlled and then bad attitudes= bad service.

  • @kaorukashin
    @kaorukashin  13 лет назад

    @musicismyweapon1000 I think you can, because all the Emergency procedures are the same, they are standard... what varies is the airline fleet but you'll always have to do the training in the airline before you start flying, so that's not a problem. ;)

  • @MrFaizan28

    I can't wait ive got accepted to do the NCFE Level 2 Qualifcation in Cabin Crew and when i'm 18 I can apply for certain airlines and then when i'm 21 i'm going for Emirates. It isn't that hard if you have the right mindset. Once you get the hang of it it is quite good.

    4.do you guys split team

    Talk to him, you have to be very confident so that they notice you are capable of doing your job. So be very confident and serious/firm and talk him, tell him not to yell at you, tell him that you undestand at a normal volume, that yelling upsets you a lot. And to the angry passengers is better let them yell and complain and everything and you just say in a very serious way that you're very sorry and the explanations you can give in the name of your company.... Hope this helps!

    Don't lose sight of who exactly you work for. The passengers. If a polite passenger asks for two packets of sugar, oh well....it's my job and I do it with a smile and with pleasure. It is a "service" position and I am there to serve the passenger as well as maintain a safe and pleasant experience for all passengers. Is that not why you do this?

    It's very difficult! because there will be times when you have to stay somewhere else, miss birthdays or family meetings because of bad weather or any other thing... so it's kind of hard... I think everything depends on your partner.. and communication... I have a friend who is married and has one little baby right now, she's a FA and she's doing just fine!

    Hi, I like your video bc it says even the negative side of being a flight attendant. I have decided to become one, and I would need some help. I am 17 and my plan is to go to college for travel and tourism- flight services. Currently I'm in high school, gr 12 and am taking Spanish, also have studied German long time ago, and going to learn French in college. But I have no clue or no imagination what is going to happen after I graduate and will hopefully find some good airline. How does it all go

    it's not easy to be flight attendant. should be learn everyday, open the book flight attendant manual, must be know very well about emergency procedure, first aids, you must know how many kinds of turbulance. and purser will ask you one by one you must must answer true if you cant answer purser will give you punishment , you must ready every time to flight, you should always smile to your pax even you have big problem and you will have jet lag after flight more than 4 hours. but you will get so many opportunity and travel the world. you breakfast in Dubai and you will lunch in India and maybe you dinner will Istanbul. for this first time i dont like this jobs, i got tired aftr long flight even i cant sleep almost 24 hours on the aircraft. and crying if i saw my phone calling up to flight. I love this jobs now. i was got this job but i already left. so sad, i wanna be FA again :)
