Would love to see an audio engineer critique Cody on his mixing advice 😂
Facts lmaoo😭😭, did he remove sub bass and low mids from an 808
As an audio engineer he cracks me up but hey it works lol even tho the engineer mixing the tracks probably undoes some stuff lol

ngl all three of them were doing their thing, but that 3rd beat is especially fire for bro being like nine months in. also I love seeing wholesome shit like this, feel like a lot of online spaces for producers are really gatekeepy so it's nice to see a more established producer so willing to help and give advice
You a g for this bro
These videos are so motivating man and the ideas you get just from watching him work are worth so much
It's so cool that cxdy always tryna help other producers with their beats

I mix just like the first guy and everyone always says to turn it up but when I turn it up everything just be clashing 🥺😅
Bella per Xspian 🔝🔝🔝
These names yaw keep givin our music is wild
Video slaps
These beats sound hard af😂
CXDYY 🐐🐐🐐🚨🚨🚨💯💯💯
Hell yeah
Imma just cut some low end and slam everything into a soft clipper😂. Yeah it will make it “loud”, but the mix instantly goes to shit. Engineering over beats that are poorly made this way is so much worse than limiting a little in the beat, and then letting the master step reach that slamming loudness (if that’s what you’re going for… obviously all the opium stuff IS).
That last beat is f*cking amazing
You are a god cxdy ❤ will work with u one day
That 3rd beat was fire asf
🐐
I like how he asks the producer his preference when correcting the beat
🔥🔥💯😤fire tutorial
W Video🔥
2nd beat was hard
The second one is fiiiireeeeee
first beat, bro literally just bumped up the volume 😂😂😂
fr, he's not on the level he can teach. His mastering engineers are doing the job.
@@jaybuck9124obviously because he focuses on MAKING BEATS not being a mixing engineer or master engineer. He only focus on the production side
9:54 the reverse is so hard
for 9 months, bros stuff is hard
not rlly
🔥
this third beat is hard afffff
that kid screaming was too funny
W vid

Can you help with any type of beat or just opium type?
il bro italiano ne sa
cxdy finna get an 00 chain soon
Naaah I missed it again :/
I wanna see Cody making a sigilkore type beat
need this metalslugx kit asap
5:40 no diddy
why i can't enter on ur discord channel? it says "oops, impossible to accept the invite" (sorry for the english, im italian)
2:40 phase offset on the master using Fruity stereo ehancer makes my masters / mixes 90% there. the rest of the 10% isdone in the mix with Stereo / Mono mixing
I have to say this:
Turning up the dB on 808, kick, or bass and putting clipper to limit peaks is not fixing a weak low-end.
Why? if you play that file out loud in a venue with monitors that are already bass-sensitive, the bass is going to drown everything out and ruin the song because now your low-end is so over-boosted.
The way to fix a weak low-end is by understanding the frequencies that make up the low-end and the different transient responses when played out loud on monitors (e.g. 20hz, 40hz, 60hz, 80hz, 100hz).
Then, make EQ gains and shape your bass elements (808, kick, bass) with those transient responses in mind.
If there's overlapping frequencies, you can side chain to create room for things like kicks cutting through 808's.
You absolutely want to limit or clip peaks so nothing on the master bus ever exceeds -0.0dB or -0.1dB.
However, you do NOT want to just push the dB fader to make low-end gains instead of EQing and shaping the bass transients.
If your 808, kick, or bass are loud (high dB), then you may have to actually cut bass frequencies for it to work in an overall loud mix.
You always have to consider the response your low-end will have on a bass-sensitive monitor when being played at a club or a venue.
💀💀💀 bro said JUST TURN IT ALL UP FUCK IT
This is facts
I wish I could make a beat with cxdy
Go hard or go home 😤
early 🗣
This was so helpful, feeling inspired now. Who wanna collab?
