I watched the show, and I cried more for the loss of a brilliant and talented man than anything else. I am 31 years old, and so was Cory. I have family that battles with addiction, and the biggest part of recovery, real recovery, is facing what you do not only to yourself, but to everyone who loves you. I am so deeply saddened that this man was lost in the fight. If you have an addiction, please seek treatment. People love you, everyone is loved by someone. Love yourself like they do.

Iʻm glad Matt said what he did. I feel like people these days are watching Glee for all the wrong reasons. People should watch Glee because it can inspire you to dream when everyone else says you can't. Thanks to Glee my life totally changed, and that's why I'm a fan through to the end, and that's why I'm personally touched by all the cast members, including Cory. I wouldn't be who I am today without them.

I never cried so hard in my life. Started at Amber's performance and ended, well it still hasn't.
Cory was my idol since the start of glee, and when he died i felt like i lost a brother. He meant so much to me, he was one of my idols, he was my inspiration. And believe me, he still is. I will never forget him, he will always be my idol and inspiration. Almost every day since he died, i've cried. Losing your idol feels just like losing a family member. But as Lea said, we're gonna get through this together

+Jacob Campero An addiction had control of him that he couldn't let go of. The reality is that is what happens to addicts--that's what he was an addict. People say that they miss him. I wonder if they remember the sadness that he left behind. That's probably all they will remember about him. When I think of that, I wonder if he is worth our tears.

I cannot believe Cory died! I'm really sad.😭
As much as I love Cory he has to take responsibility for himself. Drugs are EVERYWHERE not just Canada and you'd be surprised just how easy it is to score drugs. Nobody makes addicts take those drugs, they take them because they want them and they'll do anything to get them. THEIR chose no one else. Cory unfortunately decided to take those drugs and we tragically lost him.

Hey Dee, of course we have to be responsible for ourselves. No one is implying differently. But sometimes it's nearly impossible to do it, and certainly alone. It may not be your fault if a friend is addicted, but isn't it your job as a friend to help in whatever way you can?
Cpry didnt want them his demons did . those addictions are serious as much as u want to stop u just cant
I watched it once it was so powerful but I can't watch it again and I wont.

The biggest thing about being treated for an addiction is facing the part of yourself that uses and has probably hurt other people along the way. It's too bad that Monteith was such a coward that he couldn't admit it the people who cared about him or himself. Damn him.
They are in denial. No one wants to ad,it they need help, they just keep pushing it off!

+Emily lee Everyone in the Glee cast remembers him, too--but they have moved on. Life goes on. The sun goes up and goes down. Lea Michele is going on to another show and has decided to go on living--unlike Cory Monteith. We can all take a lesson from that.

Okay 1. Many people care about this show and are inspired or identified with it everday.
2. We're not only talking about a show here, were talking about real life. Someone who died, and people who are trying to help. That is real life, not just a show.
3. What's wrong with being gay? That really isn't an insult to the show.
4. You should watch what you say and be more considerate to poeple who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Keep your homophobic, inmature and unkind comments to yourself.
