Pro tip from someone who has been there - I'd say ages 10 and up, maybe 8 and up if you pushed it. Unless you are totally cool with not knowing where your toddler is for very long periods of time in places where you can't even fit to look for them. :) Also, I'd advise the least busy day/time possible, and preferably not a hot day. Might be more doable with younger kids if you completely avoided the first floor. Just know everyone will come out bloodied and bruised, considering there are slides that turn into rough concrete at the end.
Disney is crap compared to this place. I’ve gone here before for 2 days and I also went to Disney for a week and I enjoyed those 2 days more than the entire week of Disney
I literally just now came back I got so claustrophobic I gone in the cave section and there were so many nooks and crannies that I got in it was literally so fucking fun I also got to see the arch it was such a fun vacation but my legs got too tired because we explored everything so we couldn’t go to the last floors but in a few years we’re going to go back
Visited the museum with my family last year. We all had a blast and that is an understatement. My ADHD sufferer daughter specially enjoyed playing Tarzan with the ropes for hours and fairly burnt out some energy.
Cool video. We're lucky to have City Museum. Very neat.

I love this place, I would rather be playing tag here than riding rides at Disneyland.
