    • @fithealth247
      @fithealth247 6 лет назад +2

      Flaring the elbows on the bench press or incline is not the right way. And its why he cant use a full range of motion on the incline (where the bar touches your chest) because he is putting his pecs and shoulders in a compromising position that goes against how the shoulders move biomechanically. When you bench..in the bottom position your elbows should be tucked..forming a V..not a T. benching with your elbows forming a T aka flaring them..causes shoulder impingement, and can lead to pec tears. And going real wide on the bench in terms of grip width also puts the shoulders in a compromising position.

      Exactly..you never are suppose to flair elbows benching...it puts your shoulders and pecs in a compromising position and it goes against how the shoulder joint move from a biomechanical standpoint. Plus he is not even able to use a full range of motion on the incline due to flaring the elbows. Most of those bodybuilders have horrible form and most go by bro science nonsense. As well as doing excessive isolation movements with high volume which puts so much stress on that one joint compared to a compound movement which places the stress over multiple joints. Its why a lot of those bodybuilders have so much problems with joint pain.

    Hypertrophy comes by two ways: pumping the muscle with a lot of blood using high reps and breaking down the muscle tissue with heavy weights. What annoys me about flex is he’s extremely egotistical. Back then he was doing heavy weight and low reps. Always doing 7 reps.
    Now as a trainer Flex is STILL making it about himself by making them do high reps and low weight. So he can talk about how it’s not about ego lifting blah blah blah. Flex is so full of lies. “My forearms grow so fast” “I TRIED synthol” (instead of I used synthol) “arms about a shoulder width apart” “then I drop to more manageable weight like 315 or so”.
    Pro tip Flex, if you don’t want to be insecure about yourself make things about others instead of yourself.

      Jesus christ it's a fucking guillotine press, do it for yourself and then see if it still seems like bro science you can literally feel your upper chest specifically getting a pump

      But it also puts more stress of the chest than if your elbows were tucked, and the dude was only benching 135. I understand what youre saying but in this case I dont see it as a problem.

      You’re not going to snap your shoulders up with 135 lbs. It’s completely safe and flaring the elbows will stretch the chest more

    dunno why I cringed at this workout...not because of the light weight, just the way they interact with each other something off about it

    This type of training only works if you’re Enchanced. If he comes off all that gear he won’t retain shit.

    why is he struggling with 135 on incline !?He is a big dude at least 200 on incline. These are the people that lose all there muscle whey they come of the juice .Never use roids if you don't have a strength base first.

      True...all fluff and pump just fills the muscle with blood..but it doesnt tax and overload the dense fast twitch fibers which is responsible for giving you that thick dense muscle and strength in those fibers. For a natural guy..you cant get away training like that and expect solid gains of size and strength.

      @@bootnyps19 Fluff and puff does not build muscle long term..especially for a natural guy. Thats exercises science 101 man. If you want to build strong dense muscle..you have to attack the fast twitch fibers with progressive overload. And thats lifting heavy in the 85-90% of your max range. A dude could do 100 curls with a gallon of milk and swell the muscle cells up with blood. But that aint hitting the fast twitch fibers which is responsible for developing thick dense muscle mass and strength. Fluff and puff routines work the slow twitch fibers responsible for muscular endurance. All of that is well documented. Even nutritionists and strength coaches like Jerry Brainum, who bodybuild with Arnold and those boys in the 70's have lectures about fluff and puff style training with light to moderate weight not building dense powerful muscles long term. Facts are facts...Dont like whats said..dont read it

    When people were saying these kid is arrogant and rude, I was like nah maybe he just cramping up and maybe a bad day. Came to this video I couldn't even continue, at 3:5 that disrespectful stare, and cutting flex while he's talking to the camera. Lost my respect. Have some manners and respect your audience atleast if you can't respect your coach...
