Could this be the last sanding job before we can finally move in? Oliver was a champ this week sanding our floors and they are ready to stain.
Hoping to move in beginning of November, do you think we will?
    Lots of love, Laura x

Hats off to Ollie for all that sanding, not an easy job. Glad you are getting all the messy toxic stuff out of the way before the baby arrives. Don't feel guilty for not helping out, your health and babies health has to be a priority.

You are such an amazing couple! You work so well together which is a testament to the strength of your relationship. Thank you for sharing your renovation and all your hard work. It's so nice to see your family grow, with Otto and now baby. I'm glad you are going to stay at your parents for this phase. Looking forward to next week's video!!

Lovely cabinet in the dining room! Don’t get rid of the nutribullet cause when the baby’s old enough for trying to eat you can make your own baby food in it. I puréed peas carrots sweet potatoes etc!! Just added water or milk to thin as needed 🙂

The floors are looking beautiful, a great collaboration. I really think people underestimate the effect of supporting your partner during these times, in whatever capacity you can. And being ‘spoiled’ is a good motivator 😂 having lived through 6 renovations I understand the excitement of getting areas organised and comfortable. My husband and I used to walk around the neighbourhoods looking in people’s windows during our renovations, dreaming about the time we would be able to enjoy our home. We were eventually able to be mortgage free so it was all worth it.

Oh I really felt for Ollie, earlier this year I sanded my kitchen( 32x15 foot). It was unbelievably physical, those sanders have to be held back and are not designed for a small women! I cried so many times, I wanted to quit, I had two dust bag explosions 😂 I couldn't lift my arms for about two weeks and vibrated for days. It looks stunning but I worked out why it's so expensive to get it done professionally. Hats off to you Ollie.
It was months before I could really enjoy the floor, as I was sort of traumatised by the process, I could see that on Ollie face when Laura was giddy. Good time to be pregnant lady 😁

13:44 In case you didn’t know, historical corsets (and stays, the predecessor to corsets) were used like back braces for working women. They keep your back straight and help balance weight across your torso.

Nothing quite like a baby due to cause the house work to move along quicker than you ever realised was possible! How lovely that you have found new ways to help out but appropriately due to pregnancy. We found out we were having our baby 28th September 22 and completed on our house on 10th October 22! So we has so much work to get done and it was so worth it as we can barely get a door painted with a 4 month old baby now! Such fun and you are going to be such wonderful parents 💙 boys are the best also!xxx

One idea for all that new extra space in the kitchen: stock up now on non-perishable items, before the baby comes. It will lessen your grocery shopping duties later!

Yeah!! I’m first for a change!!!! We have just sold our house on 4th oct and it’s nearly identical to yours but only two floors. We spent four years renovating, seven years enjoying and now it’s time for a change. Love your channel so much!!! The house looks amazing ( my style too) and your bump is looking so cute. Congrats on everything. Xx

1st of all, prep work is very important so give yoursel a pat on the back. I love that Ikea piece. Have wanted the bottom in green forever. Looks perfect in your room. Mixed videos are very welcomed. We don't want to miss out on baby news or renos. Floors already look amazing, Ollie, & will be worth ALL your hard work.

Hi guys! What an amazing journey this renovation is- you and Ollie have worked so very hard on this project. I honestly don’t think you’ll believe it when you finally complete your rooms. I guess then, it will be work on the extension after precious baby’s arrival! You will not have just a house after but a beautiful home for him to grow up in. Otto is as adorable as ever and it’s so heartwarming to see what an important member of your family he is. Have a great week.🧡💚💛

I’m impressed you’ve sanded all that floor and others yourselves. My partner and I hired the exact same sanders as you and after 2 days we’d lost the will to live and ended up getting a pro in to finish it. The black stuff just ate the sand paper up in seconds as it melted on to it so it was impossible without a really good sander!! I’ll never attempt it again 😂

Olie deserves a medal. Full time working, and renovation plus dog and baby before renovations are done. For a man who are hard wired on providing roof and financial security to take all that on is tough. I hope his job and income are firmly secured and he does not fall ill. Defo you two do not do things by halves, but by tripples!

I'm the same trying to clean up the garden, cut things back so i can mulch for winter and take all the garden decor in and put away. I'm going around on one crutche after a hip replacement 3 weeks ago so going to have to get young adult kids who hate any type of gardening to help me and off course my husband 😅. It really looks great.

Does the floor not need slight gaps for expansion? I love the idea of no gaps because hate the dirt that just collects there but always thought they were necessary even in hardwood flooring 🤔
