Used to be a Pontiac man back in the Early 70s ..... but since seeing the cult classic VANISHING POINT in traded in to Mopar. today I'M the proud owner of a wide body 392 challenger in Octane Red ...... Love the mopar world.
I had a 70 Coronet 500 I bought in 79 for $500. Only 70 thousand miles. 383, 727, 323s and every option except power windows. Now 40 years later I have an all original 66 Charger. A true survivor. I've also had a 70 Challenger RT, a 70 Roadrunner, 70 GTO and a 70 Dodge D200 truck.
18:25 My neighbor 3 doors up where I lived in the 70s had a 70 RoadRunner 383 with the pistol grip shifter. It was yellow with a black vinyl top and hood stripe exactly like the pic on the back of this guys T-shirt except his had the Magnum 500 wheel option.
How I'd love one of your cars. Love your shows and Mark's antics.. That Coronet convertible? My ex brother in law had one (maybe with the 440) and I remember riding with him @ 120mph + . Baby blue with white interior and he told me that it had a OXHIDE top. Woah that was incredible. And I came thisclose to getting a '72 Dodge Charger but my Dad said no. Sigh.
The best in my opinion about this show when mark tell as or talk about the cars and all its details and his daughter need to write or make book about these cars in details and pictures with the company mark works with them just like the company doing the dash for him.
I don't do restoration work, but I do remember hearing it was illegal to turn back the odometer on any car. As far as I know that is still the same, there is no way to turn the odometer back anymore!
68 Charger all day long . Love the round tail lights and the grill . Now if it was a Roadrunner it would be the 69 . The 69 Hemi Roadrunner 12A was the all time best . Love the tail lights on the Hemi Roadrunner 12A . Out of the Darts it's the 68 Hemi Dart is number one . I think they built like 80 of them and didn't even paint them . Bare bones no radio no window cranks Hemi Dart 80 or 82 of them built .

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars, trucks and busses including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing petrol stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. They even plan to reduce the pump speed of public gas stations from 20 litre per minute to only 2 litre per minute to punish owners of combustion cars....from 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a completely new kind of crime here in Germany, called emissions and smoke crime :-(((
@@danpals7678 Sadly China wants to sell electric cars and lithium, all that combustion banning here is not about the environment, PRC dictates the end of use of all combustion cars worldwide. China told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world...:-(
And people sit on their thumbs and stick their heads in the dirt then roll belly up letting this happen. Just wait next the government will be telling you where to live and work, who you can marry and have kids if they let you. I'd rather have to start over on my on accord not be told. Keep on letting them run over you.

Stop the nonsense , go back to fun talk , kidding each other and put 100 % effort back into making cars . 2nd best cars that it is .... Chevy rules !

My old 69 Road Runner had a glove box gap like that and the was back in the mid 70s and 80s.

It depends on if one had a/c or not for which charger I'd choose. Without the 68 would be my choice.

Just because someone has too much money and willing to pay $1.5M for a 70 Coronet Hemi does not mean it's worth it to me.
