Watching them "as themselves" auditioning is a completely different experience than watching them actually play the part.. Almost like watching a play.... inspiring!
Holy crap! This is way better than the movie! In the film his lines came out a bit stilted but here it feels human. I can understand his words, see his emotions. Even his wild hair adds something the movie design was lacking.
Gerard expresses so much with his eyes and facial expressions ! That is what a superb actor does with Gerard no words are necessary his actions say it all ! Love that man and his movies !!!!🧔🎞️🎥🎬
I finally watched Dracula 2000 a few weeks ago. I hate seeing movies when an actor I love meets their demise in it. It was a very good movie, and intriguing putting the clues together, and I figured it out for the most part. Having just seen this clip, I actually prefer the longer, wilder hair, and the accent too. He is one of the best actors around. The Phantom of the Opera is the movie that truly shows how incredibly talented he is.
i agree!! i was laughing as well.. but then the acting "grows on you" and you understand how great of an actor he is. I love these audtion tapes.. they're just adorable. They make Gerard seem soo much more "human"...

The guys a good actor tho, I loved Law Abiden citizen, Den of Thieves and yes I like Dracula 2000 aswell, R.I.P West Craven.

The hair and makeup is from the Attila movie (TV miniseries). The DVD is out there. Some video stores carry it. Again, not the best script and historically inaccurate, but a must-see for Gerry fans.
