I knew Luciano could sing, but this blew me away! I adore this Christmas song! Oh let us come adore Him, Jesus Christ our Lord!! Amen. If one cry listening to this? How sweet it is!!!
Love this tune. Love Pavarotti and normally I love the Vienna Boys' Choir, but they sure have some rough starts in this piece, as though the director wasn't sure how to bring them in. They do fine after they get going, but their getting going really brings down the quality of this recording.
I"d love to hear Andrea Bocelli sing this! He is the most musical, the best singer, in the whole world. No one has such pure voice, such phrasing and musicality.
No disrespect to Bocelli, but if you're saying he's better than Pavarotti, you're mad! Even Bocelli would tell you that. Seriously, he has said it! Pavarotti is the gold standard for phrasing, musicality and pure voice. The End.
You do not have a discriminating ear if you think Bocelli is better than Pavarotti ... No one since Caruso better than Pavarotti and I might venture to say, he may have even been better than the great Enrico Caruso.
Respectfully you are not seriously comparing Bocelli to Pavarotti (the golden standard for pure voice and vocal phraseology and musicality)…right?? lol oh the hilarity of it all! Thank you for this as I am now bursting with laughter from ear to ear!

One of my favorite versions of this song. That voice! I still get goosebumps even after hearing this dozens of times! Thanks for the post! =]
This is one of my favourite Christmas songs and this version still makes me cry even tho I am 62 y.o. Thanks.
One of my favourites, just beautiful!!
oh Pavarotti i miss you !
Deleitandome con este exquisito villancico, llegas al extasis total.
Beautiful sound of a great carol
Beautiful Christian Hymn praising our dear Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, confess your sins
proof of the Divine in humanity...
Beautiful rendition of this song. Thanks for sharing it.
BTW, the chorus is the chorus of "Adeste Fideles," both the lyrics and the melody.
❤
Amen, bellísimo ¡¡¡¡
Gesu Redentor!!!

"Had", sadly.
This is not the Vienna Boys' Choir, it is the Wandsworth School Boys Choir.
I notice Trump is mentioned here! What an insult to a great singer!
