Those devs are idiots the ironclad boss fight and this stupid wings,,,, pathetic.... and yeah your thing is not working at all, and i am aiming at the wings
its ok the mini games already ruined the game... This game is frustrating and painful and most people play video games for challenging fun not pain and to redo sections over and over until you get it just right. I get robbed in this game... its insane how bad of an experience I had with this. Back to MK 1 or whatever else, because for replay value I don't really think I'll get the plat from rebirth too...
i don’t understand why people are upset at this to be honest, the characters even say out loud to look at the wings - and the game has had enough combat up to this point to teach you about elemental weaknesses. Use your eyes: look at the target list, read the boss’s attack names, or watch the boss’s animations - the info you need to beat any boss is available to you in game.
Because wings are up high above you, so you don't see what element damages which wing-form. Because effects obscured visibility on the screen, I thought that opposite elements weren't effective - I didn't know that my spell missed, and trying to figure out with which attack to use took me hours and a guide.
This fight was easy i used red 13 keep him alive use stardust ray on both wings used no magic at all it works the only hard part was sephiroth final form
The designs of the boss phasea are some of the coolest things ever from Square in recent years, but it in terms of gameplay, this is way too all over the place.
Are you sure you're throwing it at the wings and activating it each time? The shuriken often defaulted to the core for me, it's kind of hard to see. Otherwise I have no idea, it should work.. :/
Thanks I spent an hour trying to damage this core... This game was more frustrating pain and anxiety than challenging fun. I play for fun not to be stressed. the minigames are stress! I'll never buy another square enix game in my life, i have more of a life than to deal with programmer scam bs. This game was terrible.

I died in a later phase and it started me from the first phase that I was on for more than one hour. If I die again Im deleting this thing.

WHITE wings = use FIRE
BLUE wings = use WIND
GREEN wings = use LIGHTNING
RED wings = use ICE

You're probably on the Tifa-Red-Cait phase of the fight then, which also has you attacking wings. This video is 2 phases later.

I’m assuming party works like the first games sephiroth fight. Your closeness to each character determines the party setup for each phase
