**First day + Route visual** Route 158 | Chingford Mount - Stratford on DW496 (LJ61CKC)

- Today 158 went from Stagecoach to Arriva. I have to admit these are simply amazing. The VLWs are eh. I do like the DWs and I agree they 100% suit the route. HVs aren’t rare on this route but will be interesting to see what it’s like. This is a visual from Chingford Mount - Stratford. VolvoTrident also done a visual starting from Stratford so look out for that lel. Overall I’m happy with 158’s change!
As for the route I don’t mind it too much but it’s a whole different story when it’s rush hour. Oh no. Taking the last day of 158 SLN was just.... I had to wait for another bus behind as the other was too packed the driver wouldn’t let anyone on. Other than that during weekends it’s not bad and much quieter.
Route 158 is now operated by Arriva London from Edmonton (EC) garage, running between Stratford - Chingford Mount via Leyton, Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow Central, Leyton, Grange Park Road, St James Street and occasionally Walthamstow, Crooked Billet using DB300 VDL Wright Gemini 2 10.4m (DW) and Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 B9TL (VLW) 10.4m.

DWs and HVs look the best on 158 and Arriva will be a more interesting operator for the route

I am going to miss 158 on Stagecoach London though, West Ham has lost so many stagecoach London buses due to them moving to different contracts
