You know my opinion on these boxes😂however nice video mate! I do also like how on the back it says “give way to buses” at 1:40, not like car drivers or cyclists would listen but I do like that being there
I heard it’s because tfl seats require a moquette. And if you look at new outer London Stagecoach bus interiors they lack a moquette. I actually prefer this interior to an old Stagecoach interior, it especially suits the high spec interior as well.
Stagecoach new design outside of London uses a single colour seat, no patterns. They got rid of moquette but TfL states seats have to use moquette, so they now use generic TfL bus moquette.
Heard stagecoach have ordered 170 of these for the Manchester franchising. 150 DD and 20 SD … shame I won’t get to drive them as they lost the bid to keep my depot😢
The GB kites look better in my opinion but these MCVs have competition for the sales cuz GB kites are now on abellio and practically everywhere in the UK. Hope MCV tries to do the same!
my opinion these look better, because you look at the side window at the back and it dont fit, but i get what you mean and i hope these do well aswell!
Im a bit disappointed with the seating layout. This bus feels like there's barely any more seats on the front and it doesn't have the new Stagecoach interior. I'm gonna assume Stagecoach can't rollout the new interior due to interior design requirements. So 6/10 for me. 🤷🏿♂️
This is Stagecoaches new interior, they don't have a fabric livery anymore so they had to result to using tfls fabric but besides that its still their own colours
@@thebus-ter your opinion is respected. I think Stagecoach just need to get their own fabric again as the new interior colours are good but you can't just go with TFL fabric forever, cmon your a big company you got to have your own fabric
Yes but think. The 507 and 521 had designated room for commuters so the seating layout could be inspired by this and may do heavier jobs in the future instead of the 276.
@@thebus-terthat cannot happen due to colourblind people, they can’t see blue supposedly so it’s a part of the disability act I believe… it’s a new thing and from what I can see only TfL are abiding by it atm
Not a fan of the tfl moquette, don’t understand why Stagecoach didn’t use leather seats or the original interior , same with the electroliners.. oh well
Because Stagecoach no longer have their own fabric, they only have leather so they had to result to using tfls fabric as the seats within a high spec TFL interior require either fully fabric or fabric and leather mixed. Stagecoaches fabric was outdated since they changed the logo and it still has the original logo on it, so I can see why they stopped it but they gotta come up with a replacement
Looks nice but that is a strange interior layout and a lack of a centre final-row seat is stupid (probably over "safety"). Not at all digging the Chapman-manufactured seat moquette, Go-Ahead's design is much better.
0:18 that's sick, thanks for touching up on that

At least it has a back window unlike most EV buses.
It seems like ev single deckers have back windows. Is the double decks that don’t usually. Even the double deck variant of this bus.
This is very leng man, im excited for the future of these settling into London. I wonder what route they will do next after 276
it been conformed 314 is next in line for theses EVs
Yeah
The first 10.4M ones in London
Oh wow thats a very nice bus, i would try this
wonder what would happen if everyone on bus charges their phones all at same time lol
Great for these to come out!
Idk that looks so clean great bus also great design for stagecoach 👍👍
Do you know where the 277 D7 and 58 one is at
IM not sure about the seats, i think there used on the ev liners
Nice intro 👌
i saw this when i was passing LI

Very nice and thanks for sharing. Dave
do you know when they are gonna start rolling them out?
Spring 2024
Great video, was this filmed in Lea Interchange Garage? Sorry if it’s a dumb question!
Yes
Are you the driver of the eletric bus?
The ones for 58 should hopefully be in Stagecoach spec....
it should be
i dont think 58 would become a single decker

why are those buses heights so high :sob:
its nearly the height of the double decker next to it
true lol, but very tall people cant hit their heads lol

same, i think there are more at Ash Grove aswell
Did you get permission to go onto the site or do they just let you?
Well you can’t exactly walk into a bus garage in operation 🤣. They don’t just let you.
@@plasmauktransport1657 how did you get in?
I had permission.
These are actually amazing, can’t wait for these buses will start service on Route 276
But then again, NO MIDDLE BACK SEATS!!! 😡😡😡
The latest TFL specification prohibits the middle seat at the back now

i mean theres no room to place the logo on the front, so at leas compromise with this.
