Praying for NC to dodge the bullet so the homeless and recovery and rebuild will keep people safe and warm. Mid-Atlantic and NE are ready. Thanks for keeping us informed here!
WNC, coldest inauguration in recent history- guess this was the cold day they said never would happen. Love the updates!! You are my go-to after your coverage of Helene.
By the way, thank you for your early response to the Helene rain. You were the first to go out on a limb and say things like “20” plus for Mt Pisgah, catastrophic, devastating “. Here at our house in south east Henderson County we had 26” of rain. Your response at least got us prepared but the reality was far worse than we all expected. Thanks for the courage to speak.
Really like your channel. I like the way you explain the models, and how you come up with your forecast. You have a tough job. I have lived in Easley my whole life. The weather in our area is very difficult to predict. I think you do a very good job!
This is Rob in Goldsboro, NC. You probably get all sorts of crazy questions concerning snowfall in different locations. I say, surprise me! I'm always prepared (and I'm retired). Lol!
Weaverville, NC. I enjoy the breakdown Chris. This platform gives you more time to explain in detail about the models and the trends. I love winter weather so I always tune in! Keep doing what you’re doing…
@tommysmith1134 I'll see what I can do. We got hit harder close to downtown than the northern suburbs. Unusual, and lucky if you're a snow lover. It's usually the exact opposite. 4" IMBY.
5th graders a Pauline-Glenn elementary in Pauline said Monday A at least 7” before forecaster’s started broadcasted I. Got to love their insight. We will see!
Watching from Simpsonville. Would be nice to get snow, especially if we have to be so cold. Good update, look forward to the next one to see the trend.
Hey Kris, we really enjoy your forecast, we live in Tennessee on the east side between Chattanooga and Knoxville. We sure appreciate you forecasting in and around our area. Thanks so much, keep up the good work.
Gville, SC. Thanks Chris for keeping updated with the details from the latest models and really being honest. Hoping to see more snow than this last storm.
Really really appreciate your approach to forecasting, including both an acknowledgment of what your viewers want to see (or come to pass), and the emphasis on probabilities. Very well done, Sir. David, just south of Lexington, NC, next to High Rock Lake.
Thank you explaining all of this to us! I'm watching from Union Mills, NC. We've still got snow on the ground! I've always heard that if it stays this long, it's waiting on another one! 😂😂
6-8” would probably shut schools and other things down until February in the Greenville area. Last week there were school delays on Monday for a dusting 3 days before?!?!
Hoping for snow in Greensboro, NC. We only got between one and two inches last week. At least we’ve had a little…not even a single snowflake the last two winters. ❄️
If all this is true, then why in your seven day forecast do you have Tuesday and Wednesday partly cloudy with only a 20% chance of precipitation, and most other forecast around the Area are calling for dry weather as well, looks to me like majority of the computer models are taking this low pressure south of us, but still way too early to know
Spartanburg SC! Praying for a snow storm… we were very disappointed with last week🙄
Didn’t even last a day
I would love to see some down here in Beaufort!!
We haven’t had snow in Mobile since 2018, 7 years ago. I’d kill for a dusting lol
I hope yall get it!
Yes Yes Yes,, Fayetteville NC got nothing 😅
Praying for NC to dodge the bullet so the homeless and recovery and rebuild will keep people safe and warm. Mid-Atlantic and NE are ready. Thanks for keeping us informed here!
