That's my style of riding too. I love picnics, stopping and shopping on my homeward commute and going through park. Lots of birdsong, squirrels, ducks, geese, swans, even the odd fox, A ride with friends is great too😊
Too right. People are surprised when u tell them commuting is the best part of my day. Lucky to be able to say that.
Very relaxing episodes. This is what we need more, less strava, rushed agendas high lofty ideals. Simplify with cool bikes, great coffee and food with friends. I loved the overnight with friends episode. This exemplifies “live a life you don’t need a vacation from.” Never knew Seoul was so bike friendly!

I went to Seoul Forest and Seongsu-dong a couple weeks ago.. it was so nice there. I went to Center Coffee just next to the park and that was very nice too. Next time I'll check out COEO.

Riding fast is overrated. When I ride my Appaloosa, it's in the Rivendell state of mind, relaxed, meditative, absorbing the views, sounds and smells. I enjoy your Seoul scenes!

This is so inspiring, thank you for constantly sharing these videos. I sold my bike before the pandemic and now these videos have recalled so many memories. I was surprised about the prices at the cafe (e.g. 5.0) , looked like similar to euro or dollar prices but then I checked the exchange rate, so are often prices just assumed to be in thousands of won? Keep up the lovely videos, gives a very calming slow-down, de-accelerate vibe ....

Nice video as always! I have a question - Is there no necessity to lock your bicycles? I observed that some places you do and some places you do not..
If my bike is always in view, I don’t always lock my bike. If I’m away from it, I’ll always lock it. Luckily, it’s very safe here.
Are helmets not as popular in Korea? I've noticed almost no one other than roadies wearing them.
