- On my journey from beginner to badass biker...
After passing my CBT in October 2023,
Then my module 1 in June 2024 and
The module 2 in July 2024.
I am now riding my NEW BIKE the Yamaha Tracer 900.
It's 16/11/2024... time for Motorcycle Live at the NEC. First time for us attending. We decided to go by motorbikes as parking was free and the weather looked promising. Wide variety of exhibitors and some impressive stunt riding topped off a fantastic day.
I completed my Module 1 (and 2) training with professional Motorcycle training school - Redditch Motorcycle Training (rmt.net.co.uk). I would highly recommend to anyone that is looking for training be it CBT, DAS or Advanced get in contact with RMT on 01527 500333.
Thanks for watching! Will post more B2B ride outs soon.

That looked incredible! hope you both had a great time, and I enjoyed watching it
We did have a good time. Was our first time attending, was great looking around. Glad you enjoyed this video thanks for watching!
Good to have a virtual visit as I couldn’t make it this year and don’t often miss
Met Kate there a couple of years ago. That was the visit I went round with too many layers on. Bought a bigger top box after that
@@derbyshireruralrider9398 glad you enjoyed the virtual tour 👍 always lovely seeing Kate and her partner Mike. Yeah we won't be making that mistake again. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. It's appreciated!
You walk past mine and my dads bikes at 5:50. After coming down from Scotland they were VERY dirty so don't worry lol 😂
Lol... I actually said to Jess... " I hope nobody is offended by saying their bikes dirty" rode trip from Scotland is impressive.. Which part and how long did the journey take ?
@Boden2024 We are just north of Glasgow, so it's about 300 miles each way which is actually pretty comfortable (with the best purchase ever, heated kit). We did the sensible thing of booking a hotel this year rather than doing the bounce trip lol, that takes it out of you 😆
@duncanorr5926 Nice trip, and good idea to stay over, return trip to Glasgow in 1 day would be a mission. We rode up to Scotland earlier this year .. Tillicoultry near Sterling , was an awesome ride ( avoided motorways) and a truly amazing country with some beautiful roads.
Looks like you had fun, im gutted I can't go this year due to work.
That's a shame you can't attend this year. Hopefully you will be able to in 2025!
Nice parking inside back a few years and when it was peeing hard the bkies were outside always carried a bin bag or two to cover the seat and clocks.
@@richardbarton2709 Always handy carrying a bin bag or two around 👍 you never know when you might need one. The inside parking was a great addition, free but was subject to availability.
Ah,the Tracer 900 i went to buy,and ended up with a green one...built one of the few overland 900's ,rode it over a mountain from France into Italy, back in 2018,up in the clouds!
@@williamrae9954 Bet that was a unforgettable experience. Looking forward to taking the Tracer on holiday hopefully next year. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
@Beginner2BadassBiker Was,trying to get petrol...my card wouldn't work in the machines, all automated, ended up emptying the lawnmowers and chainsaws in hotel garage, just to get to a pump on the Italian side 😂
Brilliant problem solving! Haha
Awesome

I’m pondering riding down to Motorcycle Live for the first time, and this is the only video I’ve seen which shows the bike park. Thanks very much for including it, it’s a great help. Does anybody know if there are changing facilities at the bike park?
@@siwynjones Glad the video helped. There were no changing facilities as such within the bike park, but some people were just changing by their bikes. I personally went to the toilets inside the NEC and changed into a short sleeved tshirt. Security was really good and felt reassured parking my bike there. We would like to highlight that it is very warm within the NEC, we locked our helmets to the bikes and put hoodies/gloves into rucksack. There is a cloakroom but there is a charge per item (we believe £2).
Hope that helps and enjoy Motorcycle Live! Thanks for watching
@ Great info, thanks for replying. I’ve got lockable luggage, but was just trying to fathom out the logistics of warm riding pants for the journey versus not being boiled alive in the show. I’m sure I’ll be grand. There’s not much info out there, so thanks again! 👍
May I ask what satnav you use on your bike ???
I (Jess) use my phone and google maps for SatNav. I have the Quadlock phone case, handlebar mount with the vibration dampener.
My partner Bo uses his phone with google maps in a BMW cradle.
Hope that helps, thanks for watching.
It’s the same as engine as the gs lot more bike for your buck the voge
@@laurielavender4944 It is alot of bike for the money. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
