what are the laws for ebikes like in the UAE. i have never seen one there before.
Thanks for watching and commenting. E-bike riders in Dubai must be at least 18years old. At the moment there is no specific permit required to ride a E-bike, though riders must follow general cycling regulations. E-bikes are allowed to travel at speeds up to 25 km/h. E-bikes are permitted on cycle tracks, residential areas, and roads with a speed limit of 40 km/h or less. Helmets are mandatory. Reflective clothing is recommended, especially at night. It is unclear if bikes must be electric assist or electric powered, so we made sure we were pedalling regularly. Hope this helps answer the question, take a look at 2goeco video's for further information around the E-bikes in Dubai.
Hi what’s the location of that 3 tone narrow bridge you road over ?
The bridge is called Lady Milford's Bridge. (Llanstephan, 3TQ, Builth Wells) it's a lovely bridge and beautiful location by the river. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
What do you consider to be a badass biker? I see the complete anti thesis to that. Unless it's a joke 😉
Yes it is a bit of an inside joke with MANY meanings.... Take from that what you will 🤣 Thanks for watching and commenting 😊 ride safe
Enjoyed that, there were some stunning views! look forward to the next one
@@peteberry6425 Thanks for watching and commenting. Don't forget to hit that subscribe button to keep notified on future videos. What bike do you ride?
@Beginner2BadassBiker I'm on a keeway rkv125c at the moment, but taking my theory on the 12th, and hoping to do my direct access next year
@@peteberry6425 Nice! How are you getting on with the Keeway? Good luck with theory and DAS. Will you be sticking with the cruiser once you have your full licence?
@Beginner2BadassBiker not too bad in all, enjoying it, how are you getting on with your bike? Still enjoying it? And thankyou!
@Beginner2BadassBiker I'll be looking at getting a tourer eventually
That’s not Tintern Abby that’s on A466 towards Chepstow, it’s Valle Crucis Abbey. It’s got a great campsite. Good video though.
@@mikeversys yeah I knew it wasn't tintern Abbey but Bo was convinced 🤣 completely different part of Wales 😂 I noticed the glamping style tents, but wasn't aware of what the Abbey was called. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching 👍
It’s a good road the 483 from Newtown 👌
@@MrNeilparry1 yeah we really enjoyed the road. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
The short journey from the Ponderosa to Llangollen was my favourite part of our trip in the summer
It is a gorgeous road with some spectacular scenery. Have you got plans for a trip next year?
We are very lucky having many great roads here in north wales 👍 some of the best hidden gems 💎 ATB Trev
ATB Trev you are indeed! Wales has some pretty phenomenal roads and scenery.
My in-laws live in Ruthin so I’ve passed the Ponderosa many times but never been in. At the age of 41 I’ve decided 2025 is the year I become a biker!! ..so perhaps I will visit soon and be one of the gang!
Worth a visit! Especially if you are becoming a biker in 2025! Good luck, you will love it. What sort of bikes interest you? Thanks for watching and the comment.
@ I like all sorts of bikes to be honest but the naked sports heritage bikes are probably where I’m heading. XSR700, Z650rs or similar. Considering a 125 for a few months to get some experience on a bike before going for the full licence. Would you recommend the 125 route? or just go all in and do the bike license and get a big bike first? I had a 50cc scooter when I was 16 and that was in 1999 so it’s been a while since I’ve ridden any type of motorcycle.
I personally bought the 125 for £3500 (brand new) and owned this for about 8 months which gave me ample amount of time to build my skills and confidence. I did 3000 miles on that bike and thoroughly enjoyed it. That being said when I came to sell it had devalued. So it is a trade off if you are prepared to take a bit of a hit financially (but you don't have to buy a brand new 125!) You maybe better off saving your money and putting into training and extra days of training with a motorcycle school (RMT I highly recommend) on the 125 and the bigger cc bike.
@ thanks for the great advice 👍. All the best!
cool video. subscribed
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Ep3 coming soon! @SteveM109r Cheers for subscribing 👍
I’m pondering riding down to Motorcycle Live for the first time, and this is the only video I’ve seen which shows the bike park. Thanks very much for including it, it’s a great help. Does anybody know if there are changing facilities at the bike park?
@@siwynjones Glad the video helped. There were no changing facilities as such within the bike park, but some people were just changing by their bikes. I personally went to the toilets inside the NEC and changed into a short sleeved tshirt. Security was really good and felt reassured parking my bike there. We would like to highlight that it is very warm within the NEC, we locked our helmets to the bikes and put hoodies/gloves into rucksack. There is a cloakroom but there is a charge per item (we believe £2). Hope that helps and enjoy Motorcycle Live! Thanks for watching
@ Great info, thanks for replying. I’ve got lockable luggage, but was just trying to fathom out the logistics of warm riding pants for the journey versus not being boiled alive in the show. I’m sure I’ll be grand. There’s not much info out there, so thanks again! 👍

Ah,the Tracer 900 i went to buy,and ended up with a green one...built one of the few overland 900's ,rode it over a mountain from France into Italy, back in 2018,up in the clouds!

@Beginner2BadassBiker Was,trying to get petrol...my card wouldn't work in the machines, all automated, ended up emptying the lawnmowers and chainsaws in hotel garage, just to get to a pump on the Italian side 😂
Brilliant problem solving! Haha
You walk past mine and my dads bikes at 5:50. After coming down from Scotland they were VERY dirty so don't worry lol 😂
Lol... I actually said to Jess... " I hope nobody is offended by saying their bikes dirty" rode trip from Scotland is impressive.. Which part and how long did the journey take ?
@Boden2024 We are just north of Glasgow, so it's about 300 miles each way which is actually pretty comfortable (with the best purchase ever, heated kit). We did the sensible thing of booking a hotel this year rather than doing the bounce trip lol, that takes it out of you 😆
@duncanorr5926 Nice trip, and good idea to stay over, return trip to Glasgow in 1 day would be a mission. We rode up to Scotland earlier this year .. Tillicoultry near Sterling , was an awesome ride ( avoided motorways) and a truly amazing country with some beautiful roads.
As a fellow Badass I subscribe to this.

May I ask what satnav you use on your bike ???
I (Jess) use my phone and google maps for SatNav. I have the Quadlock phone case, handlebar mount with the vibration dampener. My partner Bo uses his phone with google maps in a BMW cradle. Hope that helps, thanks for watching.

B5053 got a mention an recent edition of Ride magazine. Not sure how you ended up in Bakewell going from Matlock Bath to Chatsworth
It was an amazing road. It took us a very twisty route from Matlock to Chatsworth, but we didn't mind as it was nice way to go.

Stumbled upon your vlog of new bike day and I’ve gone back and watched all of your vlogs 😊 love the theme tune! I’m a new rider too did my cbt in March spent some time on a 125 and then passed my big girl test mid September 🙌 I love how honest you are I get nerves before a ride but settle into soon enough and I’m a perfectionist and constantly beat myself up if it’s not perfect! Hearing you share similar in your earlier vlogs reassured me it’s not just me 😊You and Bo chatting are exactly like me and my husband! He had a constant side wide commentary when I was on my 125 too😂

@Beginner2BadassBiker I've just finished running in a new Yamaha xsr125. Planning on full licence in the spring. I'm so happy with the bike I might keep it for a couple of years after the L plates have gone in the bin. But I do like the Tracer 😁

You two picked some great weather for the Peak District trip. Shame the DJI microphone didn’t arrive. If its the DJI wireless mic2, they are excellent you just need to spend a bit of time playing with DB levels and positioning.
Hope you are keeping well @Banditmanuk It is indeed the DJI wireless Mic2. It is a brilliant mic and works well with the DJI Osmo Action 4. @@B2Biker Yes it was but ok with it now.
lovely video scenery in places reminds of our countryside in 🏴.
@@martinhughes9769 I do love Wales. You have some amazing roads and stunning scenery. The B2B intro has glimpses of Elan Valley and other part of Wales that I rode on the 125cc. Which is your favourite road/area to ride in Wales?
@Beginner2BadassBike so many Elan Valley is lovely but there's several mountain roads just out side Aberystwyth really wild single track mountainroads, , there's a mountain road where top gear used to film just out side Brynamman south Wales really barren, and a Castle on top of a large outcrop of stone not far from Llandeilo its called Carreg Cennen. carmarthen area and Pembrokeshire St David's there's a small harbor it's stunning called Porthclais , also look up a place called the Blue lagoon, Solva, Marloes it's a beautiful beach with rocky outcrops jutting up like little Swiss alps, , you can find all these around West Wales and many more, up north look at any of the big reservoirs, Llyn Brianne its beautiful, Bala lake , horse shoe pass and Llangollen Town is brilliant 😀 👍
Your intro song is so cute! Were you involved in the production ?
@@James-od4cz glad you like the intro song, though I can't take all the credit my best friend created it on a clever app. What bike do you ride?
Hi guys, the only tip I can give you when pulling out of an awkward junction is, and if available, try to look at reflections in shop windows or even in parked car windows for traffic you're not able to see unless creeping forward. Cool vid btw, thanks for sharing, and see you on your next adventure 👊 🤙 🤘
@@IrelandRider great advice 👍 Thank you! Glad you liked the video, there will be plenty of adventures to come 😁👌
The 900. A BIG bike. I chickened out when i bought my big bike back in 2015. Got the mt 07. Passed my test in June 2015. Then rode the 700 down to Corfu in January 2016. Came back via Pompeii. Fantastic!!
@@alanflint7732 Amazing. MT07 brilliant bike 👍 Wow! What an adventure, we will head over to europe next year hopefully. Have you still got your MT07?
@@B2Biker no. I sold it back to the dealership as I had no way to fit it in the van with my dogs and pushbikes and what was left of my life, when I moved to Corfu in the September of 2016. I do regret it, at times. But a 700 is too much bike for Corfu. It's hilly and twisty, and where there aren't potholes there's loose gravel or olive pips. I'll get back to the UK one day. But it's looking a bit mental there now. X
Many thanks for an excellent video. That is one of my regular day rides from Worcester, with the exception of the lane between A470 and Elan village. Riding in Wales, it is so difficult to find an uninteresting road. Keep up the good work. Dave D.
Glad you enjoyed the video Dave. It is a lovely area to ride. That is so true, Wales truely does have some amazing roads. What do you ride?
I've been riding a Triumph Tiger 800 XRT for the last 8 years. At 72, this will probably be my last bike. I'll just keep going as long as I can.
Regarding junctions. No point stopping in a place you can't see. Edge out to see. You were 100% on your junction approach.

Glad you liked it. Nice to know I am not alone and it gets easier with time. Thanks for the comment :-)
I've got the same BMW GS with the weird oil filler cap. FYI, if you have the standard toolkit under the seat, you can use the handle of the screwdriver to open it, you just have to slide the shaft out of the screwdrver and use the base of the handle. It's shaped to fit nicely into the 3-legged hole in the cap.
Thank you for that helpful advice. Unfortunately Bo doesn't have the toolkit, but hopefully this information will help others. Are you enjoying your BMW GS?
@Beginner2BadassBiker love it thanks! It's great for the taller person like me.
Yeah, sadly, I didn't have the tool kit. I have since purchased the tool from Ebay for a few quid. I have in my tank bad so it's on hand moving forward. Hopefully it doesn't need topping up anytime soon. ( especially as I've just had the 12000 mile service. ) love the bike. You going to ABR ?
@@Boden2024 coincidentally, mine's in for the 12,000 mile service tomorrow. Not thought about ABR, looks good though.
