Old Fashioned indeed does have a single malt whiskey accord and the note of davana has a plum like scent. For those who loved Single Malt and were sorry it was discontinued....get happy and glad because Old Fashioned gives you the essence of By Kilian Single Malt. Yayy!!!!
Single Malt smelled fantastic, but it was too realistic. When I wore it I felt like I was just walking around with a spilled drink all over me lol. Sold my bottle a few years ago.
Fantastic review as always! The lack of plum is a shame. The davana is great, but it’s toned back quite a bit. I miss the old SM, but I’d rather have this than nothing at all 👌🏻

I went to the kilian store yesterday and tried old fashioned. I also got two samples. I'm wearing it today. I'm definitely buying it. So far I've been wearing it for 3 hrs. I have to say it isn't a projector but I get whiffs of it every once in a while and it smells so good. At the store I smelled it on a strip and it really reminded me of apple Brandy on the rocks. The sales rep told me that I was the 3rd person that day that said that lol. On my skin, the opening really smells like someone spilled whisky on my skin, but it goes away really fast and then the sweetness pops up. Great review!!
