Finally someone using AI right. But... keep in mind being content creator doesn't mean you have to be large amount of subs or likes. It means making art. Your art don't have to be reach everyone, you don't have to mass produce it. Your art is only for you and people who enjoy your content.
@dylanbanning I mean frutiger aero will never completely come back into the mainstream just because of how specific it was to the Y2K era, but more people seem to recognize the nostalgic/cultural significance these days, the same way people recognize what made the 80s the 80s and the 60s the 60s, etc. So in the future when there are movies attempting to hit the 2000s vibe, I'd expect to see frutiger aero show up. I still stand by my theory that we're going towards more 3D design, maybe not the forced balloon looking stuff but definitely the use of 3D animation, 3D modeling, and 3D imagery in corporate and commercial settings. Not only are more companies using 3D Pixar-esque characters in advertisements, but in my corporate job, I'm seeing a huge rise in 3D rendering and a decline of 2D vector graphics. Especially in magazines -- 3D is even overtaking high resolution photographs which is sort of a first in the design industry. You don't need an expensive camera to get insane detail on an image anymore, you just need a good 3D renderer. These are all just my spitball thoughts, and while I don't think I'll do a dedicated sequel to this video, I'll definitely continue to discuss web aesthetics and design trends since it's something relevant that I care a lot about
please be careful trying to learn from ai. often, especially on topics that are not widely known, with great confidence, it says things that are completely wrong
i will preface that i am not entirely for ai as it currently is - if, at all. but, i heard that the current one piece anime uses ai to assist with 3-D backgrounds to help the actual 2D artists save just that much more bit of time. i think the same principle might be applied to the remake anime, but - people who are finding this out solely due to the animation studio being "WIT" don't seem to understand that the anime they are currently still watching has been utilizing ai in a smart fashion.
But AI hallucination are pain in the ass. Any AI tool recommendations? I personally hate all AI companies despite loving their work. So I want to use open source AIs or just use AI without giving them any data. Any open source AI recommendations? Also AI tech gaints are consuming lots of electricity, so AI like right now is sustainable. We need decentralized AI.
Honestly we just gotta wait for companies to implement more features. Microsoft is a big one to keep your eye on, with teams/edge/Bing/copilot/outlook/office, we’re gonna see some insane integration in the next few years - possibly a Jarvis type personal assistant for everyone. Good luck on decentralized ai… nvidia, microsoft, and apple are all competing for the most valuable companies right now, and they all have ties to openAI which some are saying is tied to the deep state… we’ll just have to see where it goes🫣
I mean it goes without saying that you don’t trust everything you see online, on social media, on wikipedia, etc. same rules apply to ai, you need to fact check and cross reference everything. I use it 95% of the time for sources and 5% for straight up facts/info, that’s why I like microsoft copilot, because the stuff it tells you can be directly traced back to whatever article, paper, or post it came from
ok cool so ur not just parroting what ai tells u n just reflecting on what u learn from reading the sources it finds for you. i can see how that can be useful bc i fucking hate using academic search engines and scouring thru niche ass science jounals to find a source on a simple topic
Yeah no especially in high school when they made us find a bunch of sources just to have sources, not even for information’s sake. It’s a lifesaver, and gpt/copilot doesn’t annotate them correctly but nowadays there are loads of tools that are built specifically for that purpose

Exactly 🫥 youtube has always been my main artistic/creative outlet

Would you consider reviewing RoboCop (87)?
I’ve always wanted to watch the robocop movies, and ai IS going to start doing more things for us in the next 10 years🤔🤔
Difficult stance but i appreciate the work in this video!
