I am moving from a PreK self-contained ASD unit to a 2/3 self-contained ASD unit. I’m struggling to wrap my head around a daily schedule and an arrival routine.

That's exciting - you're going to do great 🥰 Jen actually shared a video all about schedules earlier this year which you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/FHNjsKR7mbs/видео.html

I’m a 2/3 self contained and I think the main difference has been building more independent times, I’ve found at this grade level specifically the groupings have been really hard because I have SO many different levels and keeping a rigorous curriculum up with my more advanced students while adapting to behaviors from my more 1:1 kiddos is so hard.

@@nicolecurran6591 it is so hard - but it's possible! Be sure to check out our video on preparing students for independent work ruclips.net/video/U-Qjg2GkBqc/видео.html - it may help! 🤗

What do you think of trampolines in the classroom? Like sensory area?
