that diorama is begging to be displayed in your lego city. you got to incorporate it in the city it would look so cool
I always loved the Jaws logo showing the teeth in the ‘W’.
I am a Jaws fan and 100% you should put it in the harbor...if you dont want to have Jaws in the harbor then maybe have just a shark fin sticking up in the water around where you put the boat.
This set is definitely at the top of my shopping list just for bruce the shark
Awesome review. If anything, the existence of this Jaws set should be a precedent that LEGO should explore bending but not breaking its own family friendly policy when it comes to Ideas submissions so hopefully this means we could get more horror movies as Ideas sets.
Jaws, despite what most may think, is a PG rated film. They’ve done at least 3 1989 Batman film themed sets and that has a 15 rating. They’ve also done a couple of Stranger Things sets and that again is 15 rated. It’s not only about family friendliness there are plenty of other factors when it comes to what sets they produce as part of the Ideas range or otherwise.
A British 15 rating is like , PG-13/R for movies or TV-14/TV-MA in the USA or 14+/18+ rating in Canada

Great overview of one of the most anticipated designer sets in a long time! LEGO did a good job of scaling it to be mass produced and still holding true to the original design! Be safe and well.
Day 1 purchase. My most anticipated set of 2024 and i haven't been let down by it. Looks great. May buy 2 to display it differently
Jaws is a cult classic? Pretty sure it's a straight-up classic. I believe it's regarded as the first summer block buster movie taboot. Very excited for this set btw, the details on the boat really are fantastic... Bruce the shark could have been better by being more fierce-looking but I do look forward to getting this set.
Jaws is one of my all-time favourite films. I'm so excited to see this Lego set. Only problem... I'm gonna need a bigger Lego display 🦈

One of the coolest Ideas sets there is.
You should modify your ocean and place Jaws around the beach, and most definitely the shark need to be in displayed with it the cool story you could display the mini figures.
Nice set! I think you should place the boat in your harbour area. Its a great design from the boat and the shark.

You MUST put both in your ocean! I am getting this- saw the movie in the theater- went against my Mom's wishes. Boy did I regret it- scared the 💩 out both my friend and me LOL great design!

Thanks for such a detailed review of a really awesome set. I love the boat and the minifigs. Bruce, the shark, looks great in the diarama, but I'm not sure if I, personally, would want it in the City. Make no mistake many fans are hoping to see the shark in the City, and for their sakes I will tolerate it. However that's at your discretion.

Sound like a cool build as you seed with. The parts yoused 😊 that new plate 😊 their is another part like it. But it has studs all the way along not just two on each side but I not seen that part I'm guessing it's a new part.
You should integrate the shark and boat into your beach in the LEGO city. Also if you have the Jurassic Park Diorama you should put it in the zoo.
Highlight was when you said SONIC RING-PIECE. I imagine that’s what Guile from StreetFighter 2 shouts when he’s on the toilet.

Hi, I looked through a lot of the comments, but not all. So I apologize if this has already been addressed. But the boat is placed incorrectly on the diorama. Bruce should be right next to the boat to recreate that famous scene.

The boat is smaller than what it could be, the base and Bruce doesn't look finished to me.
Does the orca actually attach to the diorama at all? I can only get it to kinda sit on it

This is not a display piece. This is a put the shark in the water in front of a beach with a mini fig hanging out its mouth being eaten and red clear studs in the water as blood piece. 🦈
Fair amount of detailing .an the mini fig s Manny are loveing. The boat looks no to big but as it on camera an not Infront of me it hard to tell. How. It scail up. To city boat size s. To if it okay to put this boat in a Lego City. Sea arear. Or if it s to big to look right. Up against s other boat s .or if it. More a desplay set ..
Maybe try the white color on your water.
why not buy another one. display this one on the shelves and then put the boat from the 2nd one in the city. The shark and minifigures could then be mounted on that stand somewhere else on the shelves

Ummmmm, did they get the navigational lights wrong? Green for port (left side of boat) and red for starboard (right side of boat). It's a quick fix on the coning tower.
Green is starboard (right side) and red is port (left side)
