Athens 2004 was (and still is) amazing. So much fun and excitment. I was so hyped when Beijing 2008 came out because I obviously thought that it would be and upgrade to the Athen 2004 perfection. I played Beijing for about 2 hours and never again. I still play some Athen today.
@@MB93 Never tried London 2012. Was it good? Athens track events were perfect but we can not forget how fun were the swimming events and even weightlifting or gymnastics. Love it. Oh! And i have to mention the game from Konami "Track and field"

YES!!! The need to recreate it where we can have online play, multiple heats and add events. For instance add 4x100m and 4x400m relay in track friend, 4x100m Freestyle relay in Swimming.

I started to play the 2020 olympics game by sega. Ut is not the same anymore. I remember playing athens when i was a kid on it so much better than any olympic game. Loved the woman gymnastig where u had to use the arrow buttons. I like playd it everyday
@@Tubeite Well agree. On PC I had to put I and P as the buttons in order to be close to the Action button which I put on Enter, because in swimming while mashing those buttons, you have to mash and Action button when "Breathe!" appears.
I used a bic lighter to easily beat 8 seconds in the hundred meter dash. Vibrate the curved side of the lighter over the buttons instead of tapping the buttons. Easy Peazy! lol
Sydney was great also. I just wish it had more events, but I understand why it had only 12 events because at the time it was released, it wasn't still possible to make this...
@@kauanvital3808 I have a PS3, so through nullDC it can play PS2 games, but if you put a PS2 disc it won't work (it's a fat model with 2 USB front portals by the way).

Yeah I remember being pretty disappointed with the track events in Beijing. Definitely preferred the Athens gameplay

I would say yes, maybe because of my nostalgic memories but the game overall is fun

The swimming events should be called drowning events. Absolute nightmare with button mash mechanics.
