Funny story. So my math teacher was going to block island and then a hurricane hit while the was there and they shut the ferry down for 3 days. We didn't have math.
Sweet video. From the island myself. Few things to note, there aren’t any sidewalks except for downtown, and one going from town by the police station past the Oar and down to Champlins. I mention that because the only really walkable area is downtown. Definitely bikable though. Other thing I’d mention, might be easier to understand the density or lack there of of houses and what not if you’re on satellite view instead of map view on the layering panel! For anyone looking for real estate out there, there really isn’t a bad lot on the whole island.
We’re not sure what you mean. We have developed a channel that allows us to attract buyers from around the world and help many people buy and invest in Rhode Island. But we sure are glad you spend a lot of time on our channel. Keep those videos coming!
I thought most of the Island is Conservatorship? Old Block Island land owners willed their land to a Conservatorship so it wouldn't be built on or made commercial with apartments?
I thought it was very informative! Lots of "good to know" info!!! :-)) Wish there were more pictures and less map,... or add map with Satellite views. The constant map movement & zooming was a little hard to follow. Do any of the ferry's carry vehicles for visitors? More motel or alternate accomodation info would be helpful.

There is nothing that people from Block Island hate more than tourists who call it "Block". Do you call the state it's in "Rhode"? When you go to Long Island do you call say "Hey, I'm visiting Long"? It's Block Island. Or B.I. Not Block. The Block is acceptable if you want to be tongue-in-cheek. The Island is fine too.

You're correct! Block Island is expensive but offers a very unique lifestyle and the demand is high.
