I love how they portrayed the mcs in this game. Wise is more mature and calm with his looks reflecting that, as he seems to be the older brother who cares a lot for his sister. While Belle is the more immature and expressive sibling, which fits her looks and role as a little sister.
I also think it's great that they both come off as very intelligent when it counts. Like that scene, near the beginning of the game, where they checkmated that one hacker into giving them back control really sold me on both of their characters

Wise is a calm and "wise" guy, while Belle is a very lively and humorous younger sister.

These are video files though (pre-rendered, hence the size). HSR, WW and Genshin render their cutscenes in-game most of the time.

I love they're interactions. It's been a while since I've seen siblings interact in a way that's not so forced or annoying. Plus, they both have voices. Miracle!
Belle is Cute TBH, but really, this is the first time i have a doubt when i choose Voice in game, the EN dub in this game is freakingly good, that "swear" at the first of the game was awesome, i cant imagine it was on a JP dub (that i usually play on JP dub)
When Hoyoverse gives a choice between male or female MC, it's nothing more than an illusion while in this case both Wise and Belle are MCs and siblings to boot, Belle tends to be the definitive choice. By all means there is a noticeable personality difference between Wise who as his name implies is more of the calmer and pragmatic personality whereas Belle is more of the lively and vocal personality of the siblings but choosing either of them as the MC you would play as it just seems Belle fits that role while Wise is the guy who prefers to handle matters behind the scenes. As if the playstyle of Zenless Zone Zero is similar to Honkai Impact 3rd, it has original MCs in a similar vein to Kiana.

You know, I want to talk about Belle's design. It kind of reminds me of Xion from Kingdom Hearts, the short hair that hangs around and frames her face. I love her earrings, and her entire outfit is so stylish. She looks really cute when she isn't wearing the hoodie too, the way the sleeves of her shirt cover her arms and partially her neck just makes her entire outfit look so warm and comfy.
Its all just so appealing.
Like personally, I think that so many anime girls look the same, but Belle's design just hits for me. I'm a big fan.
This little dance she does is so cute and genuinely fills my brain with happiness chemicals. I genuinely FEEL my lizard brain feeling the appeal. Whoever is animating this is genuinely incredible and is a master at the fundamentals. I want to know who does this, I don't think its different people because this style seems like a signature one.
This is why exaggeration is great, its great to have fun with this stuff. You don't need to make everything realistic or make it practical or apply to real life. Its about having fun and being entertaining. Fun to watch. I'm so sick of people always saying "That pose looks uncomfortable." Or "She couldn't run in those shoes'outfit." "Ouch her spine!"
THESE ARE FICTIONAL CHARACTERS MADE FROM SOMEONE'S IMAGINATION AND PUT INTO A 3D PROGRAM. THEY AREN'T REAL, THE ONLY BONES THEY HAVE ARE THE ONES IN THE MODEL RIG.

Zenless Zone Zero's animation is probably the best 3D animation I have ever seen, and kind of makes me want to learn it now.
I might just play this game to watch the story and the fluid animation in scenes, could not careless about the combat whatsoever.
The combat was fine, but what makes me interested in play the combat is because you can feel more hack and slash with this game, rather than Hoyo's another game
But yeah... the attack is not variable, but you can still feel the charm

I usually play as the male MC in Hoyoverse games, but I had to choose Belle. Only because she definitely reminds me of Ruby Rose and that's one of my favorite series.

These MC ZZZ siblings definitely have segs, there's no story about them not playing hide their brother's python every night. Looking away from a bland combat expierience (not really any combo buttons like tap tap and hold button stuff, mostly just taptaptap button, combo attack and switch parry which is super cool is really inconsistant, sometime it progs other time not.) Looking apart from that im having a blast 😁

Is it me or a VHS looks a bit... thin and longer? And why are they using VHS when they have modern laptops? Well, if the information is stored digitally on VHS (D-VHS) then I have less questions asked but if it's an analogue and for pure aesthetics when they have modern laptops... I'm confused.
Moreover, I'm even more confused since laptops and digital screens in room seem to tend towards 16:9 AR while TVs to 4:3 AR. God, I hope they don't have to watch pan'n'scan version of movies (if the movie was shot with open matte in mind then ok, but if the movie is FX heavy or was shot in one AR then OH GOD) on VHS when they can use 16:9 screens (not mentioning less letterboxing if the movie is presented in 2.35:1 AR)
