@@catlover-78 yeah use eee first then switch to every other character u need then use her burst. Her burst should be used right before her turrets expire so that you dont waste too much time on yae miko.
Also, dont build for er on her. She can burst once every 20 seconds and her needs are just way too much. Focus on her skill damage through atk, em and crit and you’ll find that she’s way more powerful

that shenhe transition was soo smooth that i couldn’t tell which part was burst and which part trailer 💀
because that Shenhe scene is not from her burst but is actually a scene in one of the quests in Liyue. I remembered seeing that cut scene Shenhe made while battling the wife of the Sea God. The cut scene is really identical to Shenhe’s gameplay burst with just a slight detail, her mouth is opened, her eyes have a glow trail, the camera is too zoomed in while gameplay Shenhe burst doesn’t have all of those. I can easily notice the cut scene change to gameplay in Shenhe’s part

for the people that are complaining that theyre too long, in honkai i3rd the timer in both abyss and elysia realm stops until the animation ends
They are too long regardless. Its not about the timer, its about game design. No one wants to sit through 3-4 seconds unskippable animation every time you press a button... And you have 4 characters which means like 12 seconds of animations per rotations, like literally no one wants this. Genshin animation are quick and efficient, and thats whats important.

@@kiuhh1118 Usually in Honkai you kill everything before you even finish your full rotation. And the dps isnt that ult dependent, ult is more like extra dps added onto your normal attacks and special skills.

I love what you did to the Raiden Shogun. Seeing Ei in the Plane of Euthymia then shifting to the Musou Isshin is so amazing as it is lore accurate too!

These are SOOO NICE and the transition was PERFECT but I think genshin prefers shorter burst animations
I still think it’s better if there were longer burst but the world pauses when u activate it

genshin doesn’t have the time fractures like honkai impact 3rd does and doesn’t have a unique battle system like honkai starrail so sadly only short bursts
I loved! Nahida's is brutal, one of my favorite transitions
I think it was so smooth because that's actual what happens in her demo

Itto is ALMOST perfect. I really like his normal burst, with the oni on the background and everything? So it's kinda disappointing that you didn't use that animation after the character introduction cutscene. I'm pretty sure the transition will still be smooth because both character introduction cutscene and his ultimate skill used the same movement (a.k.a heaving the spiked club on his shoulder) 😌
I think of they kept the black background part and then switched to his actual burst it would’ve been better
This just goes to show that Zhongli's ult animation is so perfect you cant do anything to improve it XD

If the timer in challenges and whatnot pauses when you burst, I honestly wouldn't mind having a long burst/ult animation like in hi3/hsr

not unless they do something like in hi3 where when u do ur ults it stops the timer of the stage
@rhenia8951 not all burst in honkai impact pause stage timer some only pause the skill timer and some do both

as for spiral abyss they can just make it so bursts, regardless of cinematic or not, pause the timer during their animations

"Spiral abyss timer" there can be a setting to speed up bursts like there is already a speed up option in star rail

Tighnari's was just... far too clean. No flash or bloom to hide behind, just a solid cut from E to Q with the SLIGHTEST little blur. They're all so pretty tho ngl
The transitions are cool. One or two could be diferent (Ayaka and Ayato)
But this type of animation is impracticable on Genshin

I love the idea of a character “activating” their constellation and doing their burst.
Best ones are Xiao's and Hu Tao's, both for the integration from their trailers, and for the extra flourish not taking too long. There's a balance between I-framing and idling for way too long. I think it's acceptable for the Herrscher Trio's Joint Ult to break that because they're an exception, not the rule. Some others' lengths have a purpose, like FoV showing her HP being converted into ATK power.
