Nobody believes me that Buttermilk pie is delicious, so I am going to use this recipie and prove them wrong.
I agree with you! Its one of my favs! I didn't know what I was missing until I tried it 😊
I use to make these all the time they are delicious
@@Msrichardson68 Yes indeed!
It really is 😂❤
It’s the word “Buttermilk” that makes them skeptical. I don’t care for plain buttermilk but I love buttermilk pie!!!
My Mom use to make these pies ( she’s peacefully resting )🙏🏽.
So so easy to make and very good. 👍🏾
They absolutely are. What a special memory 💜
Had this at a restaurant one time, so delicious, easily one of my favorite kinds of pie. Thanks for this recipe!
You're most welcome! Thank you!
Looks delicious and way more easier than I imagined! Thanks!
Great! Thank you!
I made your Buttermilk pie it's the Bomb🎉 it's that delicious thank you for answering my message with your recipe video. 😊❤
That makes me so happy 😊 Thank you and you're most welcome.
I'm here because I clicked on a link earlier that told what the number 1 pie was for each state. Being a native of Tennessee, it was the number 1 pie for both Tennessee and North Carolina. I'd never even heard of it. Every Thanksgiving, we had most pies, Pecan, Cherry, Apple, Mincemeat and maybe a couple others. Not to mention varieties of the apple and cherry pies. I'm gonna make this for Thanksgiving.
Okay awesome! I didn't know it was that popular. I hope you enjoy it!
@@Whipitlikebutter Like I'd mentioned, I've never even heard of it. I've heard of a lot of typical southern pies and made a good few. But old as I am, and being from the south, I've never heard of buttermilk pie.
Oh okay. Well first time for everyone right. There are so many y different kinds of desserts its hard to keep up.
Looks delicious! Making this tonight for dessert. Thanks for sharing!

GREAT recipe though buttermilk pie doesn't actually need a crust. I make mine crustless. Comes out quite good, too. 😁

I like to add 1 tsp of all spice to it or cinnamon
I wish you included the measurement. Link didn't work
Made mine for first time baked 52 minutes cause it said 45-55 I thought it looked burned. Yes it was golden. I bought some blueberry pie filling to put on top. Not sure how I will like it. Been trying new desserts. Next on list is Apple fritters. Yours looks good
Yay! I hope it tastes great. Thank you
@@Whipitlikebutter my first time. Not sure about it & I guess it really cool to cold. Was still warm was trying to check the inside. I guess it’s cooked right. It’s soft set right now. My sister said as it cools it will firm up more. Thanks for the reply & the video demonstration it helped a lot & it didn’t turn out as bad as I thought. Just have to wait & not rush it. Main thing is I made it correctly. It’s the simplest dessert you can make
@@vreese3350 Your sistere is a wise woman. I think you will be pleased once its set. I love to get it a little warm after its set, but its great at room temperature as well. So simple indeed!
ugh i wish you included the measurements! now i gotta look back and forth
Excellent video. Thanks
Thank you so much!
Beautiful! You have inspired me!
Thank you Candy! I hope you love it!

1 c buttermilk
1 c granulated sugar
½ c unsalted butter- melted
3 whole eggs- whisked together
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tbsps all-purpose flour
Why don’t you give measurements?
Go to the website
The printable recipe is in the description
You did a great job. But you didn’t gild the measurements how much of what?👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you! The recipe was pinned to the comments. You can find it here: whipitlikebutter.com/buttermilk-pie/
how much tho of all of these ingredients I dont have a printer
1 c buttermilk
1 c granulated sugar
½ c unsalted butter- melted
3 whole eggs- whisked together
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tbsps all-purpose flour
⅛ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
Do you eat with whip cream on top? Mine is in the oven right now!
No, I just ate it as is.
Great recipe. I want to top it with berries... would you recommend that?
I think berries would make it soggy, but you could surely give it a try.
Measurements please.
Find them here love: whipitlikebutter.com/buttermilk-pie/
😂❤
Where are the ingredients?
1 c buttermilk
1 c granulated sugar
½ c unsalted butter- melted
3 whole eggs- whisked together
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tbsps all-purpose flour
Are you all cooking on a convection oven because on gas oven it take double the time to cook...
Are you cooking this on the lower rack or middle rack?
I cooked this pie in an electric oven and on the lower rack. Each oven is so different so that may be why took some long. Some ovens are also no at their true temperature so sometimes an oven thermometer may help. I hope you still enjoyed the recipe.
@@Whipitlikebutter Thank you!
How much of what are you using ?
This only tell what you are using

I'ma be a diabetic by the end of the week lol ijp
Lol! Nnnooooo!
@@Whipitlikebutter 🤣🤣🤣
I wish you would just say how much of each you add, I don’t know how to go to the recipe !
Why no measure on any of those ingredients 😳
Heal yeah
😊
No measurements on this video or on your site. Why would I even use this recipe? Considering I don't know how much of anything besides eggs
There is a jump to recipe button on my site that will take you directly to the ingredients and instructions. Good day
Bad recipe never explain how much of each ingredient you use next go into detail
Mary that doesn't make it a bad recipe sis. That information is in the description box and the comments. I do now add that information to every video though.
@@Whipitlikebutter I went to the link that you posted in the description to see what all went in it and it tells us but it still doesn't tell us how much of each of everything we use. Idk what to do. I just went and bought everything to make the pie for Thanksgiving tomorrow and I get home and realize I don't know how much of everything to put in there LOL so I guess I just wasted a bunch of money
@@lindsaypomeroy6792 You have to scroll down to the recipe card that is located at the end of the page. You can always reach out to me if you have a question so that in the future you don't waste your time or money.
@@Whipitlikebutter you're awesome!! Thank you!
Thank you 😊
Doesn't make sense to give a recipe without measurements
