Wow, Brent, this lesson is so helpful! I love how you've made learning about food vocabulary so interesting and practical. Thanks for teaching us how to describe bad food in English like a native speaker!
I really enjoy watching this video about how to talk about bad food. Along the way I picked up a few new words as well. But I felt like it was kind of hard for you to teach us when you were walking around. Anyways safety is the first all the time . Please keep safe, teacher Brent.😊
Thanks Brent for this very interesting lesson. Concerning the tough and chewy expressions makes me think about overcoocked meat that tastes like a shoe sole and hard to chew. 🥩👞🦷 Concerning the best by date, even though the date has expired and it concerns dry, well-packaged food such as cookies and according to food hygiene studies, these could still be consumed within a reasonable time despite having passed the consumption date. This is why the European law has few years ago been modified in order to authorize the mention “Best prefered date” instead of “Best before date”. The taste of the cookies can be kind of staled but nobody isn’t supposed to get sick with them. That also prevents many families throwing away this sort of food "too good to go". 🥞🍪
Thank you so much, Brent! I drink kefir every day (a fermented milk drink similar to a thin yogurt or ayran). Istanbul!!! I walked along the same streets about 10 years ago. Everything looks familiar. I even remember that pay phone ☎📞🤙
i dont like shusi but I definitely like your "on path" lessons :) especially because for a moment I think I know a little English, but every morning's attempt to converse and understand the customer's representatives convinces me otherwise :(
The cemetery was like a Hungarian cemetery - some are also covered with concrete here. I learned a few new words. I just came out of a hospital because Friday I had to go to a doctor with my still swollen left foot. It was hematomae, blood and pus was collected under the skin. It was treated but I was sent home. I got a scheduled control the next day, Saturday. And the same - hematomae. The doctor told me after the treatment it will be the same for tomorrow so I should stay in the hospital as a patient. I got a plaster cast on my leg which makes my ankle unmovable. And today I was released from the hospital with still in the cast. But my foot is much better, the healing process started. The food was ranging from average to good. Is the food is good in the hospitals in Maine? Thank you for your lesson.
Hi everyone 🤗😊 how's it going 😊 it's a good morning in here, 🔆 hope you are having a good morning/ day wherever you are...what I don't like at all is a soggy watermelon 🍉🤢 watery coffee ☕, mushy veggies especially zucchini 😊 I almost forgot 😅 please, is the adjective watery means exactly the same as water - logged ? thanks for this very useful and interesting lesson Brent 🤠 I appreciate it ❤️
The first time I tried blue cheese it tasted weird but now I feel I'm becoming somewhat partial to it. As far as fermented milk is concerned it's a matter of habit. Kefir is such a great beverage.

I recorded this lesson before I tried kefir, or ayran, in Türkiye. So good.
@@AmericanEnglishBrent Nice to hear you liked it!
Knowing you is a "serendipity"
8:01 the word for that cemetery is Fossvogskirkjugarður😮 English is a piece of cake in comparison to Icelandic!!
Haha. Very true. 🇮🇸
I haven’t watch your videos in a while, but looks like you are having so much fun with AI generated images now😀
I am. Thanks for watching.
