Honestly, the old, significantly smaller Garden City Mazda was better. Especially in terms of customer care. Went there for 12 years. Most of that time, Mike in the service center did a great job taking care of me and my Mazda. No complaints. The new GC Mazda? I was lied to by the guy who runs the service department. Recall front strut part never came in, despite making that appointment 2 weeks in advance. I was given an excuse why they couldn't work on my Mazda. Called a few days later to make a follow-up appointment. Thankfully, got a different young woman at the reception desk. So, no obnoxious attitude this time around. She goes to check if the recall part came in. Then tells me that it was never actually ordered! I was done! Told her to let the service manager know not to bother ordering the part. I'd be taking my Mazda to a different Mazda dealership from now on. Should have realized something was up when I learned Mike was not part of the new team at the new GC Mazda. Bigger, more fancier? Absolutely! Better?.... I don't think so.
