@ I get you. It’s goes up a notch in complexity certainly. What kind of backend services. A dafabase would allow you to achieve a lot. Or do you mean mail and payment services?
@ I am trying to create a database that stores file as well as manage users credentials and I tried using firebase but things went south. Since I am a beginner and I wouldn’t want to ruin the progress I’ve made so far, I took out the firebase codes
@ I’ve had good success with using something called an ORM - Prisma and a Postgres SQL database - Supabase. LLM has good training on these tools. It can also see and refine the database design and make changes. If you look at my latest tutorial on clone you can see some of the prompts I use.
Great video Rob. I think you have given me the confidence to jump on the V0 train! What are you recording the tutorial on? Love the production quality (audio and video!)
Interesting. Do you know of tools and/or workflow to code an already existing design *efficiently* with AI? I have my design in Figma, but getting Claude to code that site up based on a screenshot has been haphazard. I don't use Webflow or Framer, so those plugins are out.
@@Boinzy476 I’d use ChatGPT 4o for that. Don’t put the whole site image in at once. Feed it each site section at a time and it will do much better. Or try doing the same in Cursor.
@@dichdasoul I would not separate in the first place. In V0 or Cursor I would generate the page and then keep prompting by uploading the section image. Then I’d say let’s focus on the social proof section amend it based on the uploaded design. Don’t change the rest of the design.
i want to build a project through this and present it to my professor but i dont want him to know that i've used some AI to make it....what should i do??
A good professor would be embracing this kind of experimentation but the question is what is being tested for in this scenario and be honest with yourself and them. If I was a professor of a certain level of student and started seeing advanced practices that suddenly leaped past what they were previously capable of I’d know instantly it was not their work. But the lines have blurred now. Your professor wants you to get the experience of building something yourself. I would still use Cursor or perhaps VScode but alongside ChatGPT and Claude. Instead of copying in whole chunks of code I’d move very slowly through each stage and question each part so you know what’s happening. If the professor sat you down and said they know you used AI and questioned you on it you should be able to explain each line and function. The outcome was build learn and understand and you did.
Excellent video! I really like your calm, detailed and beginner friendly teaching style 👍 Thank you! 🙏
Thanks for the comment! Yeah I try to remember back to when I was a beginner and reduce the assumptions of what people know. Keep it simple
Great tutorial. I will be sticking around for more of your videos.
Thanks for the lovely comment. What kind of content would you like to see next?
@ I would love to see how backend services can be integrated into a simple website. I’ve been struggling with this for a while now .

Also Rob, can you create full stack apps on Vercel (or any of these tools)... ?
@@pulkitmukeshsharma3590 thanks so much! I use obs, Logitech can nothing fancy, 20 dollar lavelier mic from Amazon and CapCut
Thank you so much! Had no idea the power behind v0.
@@OneStopCamp yes it’s next level for prototyping

Do you actually know how many credits that 14v of v0 design was? Any option to check that or maybe to guess?
Love the video - subscribed.
The V0 tokens get consumed ridiculously fast. Just four prompts, and 2 million tokens are gone. That’s insane!
Hey! how much is that in $'s?
I have a tutorial coming up where you can get close to the same results just with Cursor, stay tuned.
love it!
Thanks!!!
V0 doesnt use nextjs ?
@@haidersyed6554 it’s built by vercel who built nextjs. Everything it outputs is designed to be compatible with next
It's nextjs, uses tailwind and shadcn. It usually uses next 13-14 ish versions, It still struggles with next 15. But aren't we all

Very informative
what is the speech to text app?
It’s windows 11 dictation. It’s in settings and you hit win key - h to activate. Accuracy is great
how come V0 does not work on chrome?
@@DPaquette it should. I use it on chrome and arc works fine? Have you got ad blockers or JS disabled? What’s your error?
That can’t be true. I’ve been using it with chrome without problem on several systems.
amazing, thx.
Thanks so much, glad you got something out of it!
