I just bought a pair of Nimbus 26 a couple weeks ago and also really like the shoe. I have massive feet and have been having width issues recently with my 2E shoes, so decided to pick up a couple of 4E cruisers to give my feet a break. Not many options available in 15 4E, but ASICS came through with these bad boys. At 6’4” 265 lbs I like the slightly firmer foam compared to the 25s. They are heavy, but my More v5’s in 15 4E are insanely heavy… 450 grams… that’s basically a 1 pound shoe!
Have a great time in Chicago! I hope it’s incredibly satisfying and really rewards all the hard work you’ve put into this block. Really appreciate all of your insights into shoes and training, and the dedication you’ve shown towards creating a great hobby jogger community- we’re all rooting for you. Cheers mate!
The Nimbus 26 are hands down my favorite shoe of this year. I usually get calluses, etc. on my feet, but these are just always comfortable. Anyone that has "bad feet" like me should try these!
this video is convicing me to buy Nimbus 26 to replace my daily trainer triumph 21 that almost reach 1.000km this week. thank you for great and energetic review as always yowana.
I have a pair of 25 TR for wet/winter and a second pair of non TR for dry days. The trail outsole is definitely the way to go if I were to pick one over the other.
Been buying, selling, and trading shoes on the Supwell app. Great way to be like Yowana and wear every shoe you ever wanted to try by trading with other running shoe sickos!!
So look. I am pro Nimbus 25. I recommend it to any and everyone. And my main use case is work related. All day comfort is unreal. I picked up the 26 expecting another great experience and it was fine. Just fine. It was noticeably stiffer than the 25. Which is not a brick but the comfort level just wasn’t the same. I understand that runners, especially heavier strikers might prefer denser foam, but for us everydayers I can’t help but be disappointed. And now it feels like the trend has become the more soft n squishy shoes-1080v13, nimbus 25 and like-were lauded for, have moved up in the price bracket and the stiff compounds have taken their place in the mid-tier market.
I put 300 miles on Cumulus 21 Goretex a few years ago. It wasn’t a lot of fun to run in, aside from keeping my feet from going numb. I put almost 500 on the 25 goretex last winter, and it was a vast improvement.
I have Nimbus 25 with over 900km so far, and not planning to retire them at all. Super comfortable, felt like heavy ones during first couple runs, but later on they felt like a sock actually. I don't feel any degradation of the foam. For me (83kg, 1:39 HF PR) they work best up to 5:00/km (maybe 4:45/km but that's on the edge). The longest distance I ran in them was 40km. I had More v4, Invincible 3, and I still prefer Nimbus 25 for long runs, even despite the fact that Invincible are still pretty fresh with less than 150km. The outsole still looks not bad, with no obvious worn out. And also it's the best shoe for walking for me, not just casual city distances, but also traveling, when you have to walk for 10-20 km every day (not trails, but sightseeings).
I love Asics shoes but I don't get the pricings here in Europe, Nimbus and Kayano are 200€ (220$ approx), and then you can get Glideride Max for 180€ (!!!) or Superblast for 220€
no. look better and you will find out that 26 can sometimes be bought for less than 100e. 3 months ago I succeeded to buy Nimbus 26 TR size 43 1/3 for 95e in Sportvision
I enjoy watching your opinions evolve, for better or worse, in real time. With this category of shoes, the question then becomes, do you spend the extra $20 for the MagMax?
The main reason the 26 don't get as much love this year is because the 25 got so much i believe. And it's not a significant update so not as much hype and talk about it.
Glad they updated that sole. Nimbus 25 I have a way to soft. Question for Boston 12 owners. Ordered a pair but hear the laces need to be changed out right away. What works best on them? Stretch laces or non stretch flat laces? Or lock laces?
This shoe did not work for me. Maybe if it were half size down?? Anyway, it’s too old to return and too dirty to sell on Supwell (lol, just saying)… it’s JAS. Glad you seemed to like it, man!
While I’m sure the overall conclusion is accurate anyway, I do wonder if you think your taper / more rested legs are casting shoes in a more favorable light lately? I have tried a couple new shoes recently and feel like my experience has been colored by how fresh (or not) my legs felt.
Hi! I just checked the member database and am seeing an account with your email (or one with the same name at gmail). It also looks like you filled out some info on the profile fields as well so you must have gotten in there before. I would try doing a password reset and seeing if that works - if not email me yowana@supwell.io and I'll see if I can help
Could you do a comparison to the Glideride Max in your next video! Keep up the great work, I watch your videos everyday and inspired me to get back into running over the past year after nearly a decade off.

Wow 454.4 g = 1 lb. Dude
Im over 1300km in nimbus 25. One of the best shoes i have run in. Gonna buy 26 for sure. Great review.
I‘m so hyped to see you running Chicago dude 🙇♂️🙌 In my opinion sub 2:35 🔥💪
I wish you just the best for the race 🏁 🙏😊
Am I the only one who treats yowanas videos as podcasts?
No, I think it's a common thing
Same
Same here
I have RUclips premium and I’ve justified that purchase because I get to listen to Yowana’s videos on all of my runs.

1. I bought my daughter the 26s and she loves them. I typically don’t do well with soft heavies, but I’m tempted

I bought a pair of Nimbus 26 TR around 4 months ago and those immediately became in my favorite long run shoes

GOOD LUCK W CHICAGO THIS WEEKEND!!
After watching this training block, I think you'll be looking good!

Appreciate you Yowana and the Supwell app! Good luck this weekend man, get that shit lol! 🤘
Good luck at the race and yes to the holiday challenge!!!
I loveeee the nimbus my 26s have 400 miles on them and I just bought a pair of 25s

Got a pair 2 months ago and have over 250 miles in them, still looking great. It's a very comfortable and Durable shoe, and so easy to put on

133 miles in my Nimbus 26. Zappos had a pricing error and got these under $100. Durability is great so far!
Baby Strides with the freestyle flow!
Now you got me thinking of buying the nimbus 26 😭
Great review !! Got a pair of the brooks Ghost Max, tried the ghost max 2 the 1 felt better and was $50 less !! Thanks for recommending them Sir !!
Ayyy glad you got them! Love that shoe
i love my NImbus 25,,, i already run Nimbus 25 for 216km
I thought you might have a hurricane, but it seems like great running weather out there.

If I already have SB2 and NB4, and enjoy these, I really can't see any reason for these?
Great Run mate ! I wish i could run in such a nice neighborhood!

Best money I spent on myself this year. Such a joy to run on.
💯💯💯
My Nimbus 25 is my slightly firmer 1080 v13. Both are excellent max cushions
LETS GOOO nimbus review, finally cuz I got it for free from work
Nimbus 26 vs GlideRide Max?
The main reason the 26 don't get as much love this year is because the 25 got so much i believe. And it's not a significant update so not as much hype and talk about it.
I gave mine 50 miles and retired them. For me they were way too mushy at running forces. They're the most comfy casual shoes I own though!
Can’t wait for Yowana’s Chicago Marathon video coverage.
Glad they updated that sole. Nimbus 25 I have a way to soft.
Question for Boston 12 owners. Ordered a pair but hear the laces need to be changed out right away. What works best on them? Stretch laces or non stretch flat laces? Or lock laces?
They have a pair of these on sale at my job i may have just been convinced to cop a pair
Any plans of running the 6 star marathon mate? With the amount of miles you put in, i think you'll ace it. Makes for good content as well.
This shoe did not work for me. Maybe if it were half size down?? Anyway, it’s too old to return and too dirty to sell on Supwell (lol, just saying)… it’s JAS. Glad you seemed to like it, man!
I wonder if Asics updated the foam a bit from when the 26s were first released?
Paris colorway is such fire! I picked this one up a few weeks ago but haven’t run in it yet
Jeremy dropping, frfr. I copped two pairs 💪
While I’m sure the overall conclusion is accurate anyway, I do wonder if you think your taper / more rested legs are casting shoes in a more favorable light lately? I have tried a couple new shoes recently and feel like my experience has been colored by how fresh (or not) my legs felt.
Soundtrack for this one is "Nimby - Supwell ft. Baby STRYDZ" 👟 🎶

Hello yowana 🎉🎉🎉
Dont diss the coros my dude.
got mine this monday for a perfect Asics rotation. Iam realy surprised! The Nimbus is replacing the MoreV5 .
Why? I just ordered the more v5
@@LHNguyens the v5 is just gigantic. I Like em but it is realy many many shoe on your feet. But mostly i want a one branded Rotation.
The 26 is a great shoe but if your a forefoot runner you miss out on so much foam
Man, what’s the best way to tell where your foot lands. I know it sounds dumb but I look down and cannot tell 😅…
Do you like the Nimbus 26 more than the Glideride Max?
i’m in Chicago now - what’s the meetup plan? could not get into Supwell, even though I entered my info correctly and paid $1

This is a surprise review indeed!
I’m a slower runner and got the SB2 as an upgrade to my Nimbus 25. Doesn’t work at slower paces and way too firm. Maybe I will try this instead.
I much preferred this to the superblast 2 at the paces I was running yesterday. More comfortable, smoother and bounce still felt good
Could you do a comparison to the Glideride Max in your next video! Keep up the great work, I watch your videos everyday and inspired me to get back into running over the past year after nearly a decade off.
What if you try the Asics Kayano 31 yowana? I heard it was similar to the nimbus 26
Yes will be trying that one as well! It's been on my list for a while
@@supwell thankyou so much Yowana, you re the best!
Make Albania Get Asics!
Will the hats have EU shipping this time?
Where did the name supwell come from?
1st . And Supwell App Acolyte
Still using 25 as my daily
The nimbus is my shoe
Good luck for the marathon!! 🙏
Syrup in yer eyes!
I'm first
Idk y but these shoes hurt my shins when I tried them.
Garmin Fund
Hahaha I appreciate you
The new Superblast colors are terrible.
That is a very bad colorway! Flashy bright colors for a dude isn't my cup of tea!
48 min for a shoe review video.. not criticizing, just suggesting it's a lot.
Isn’t that the norm for the channel?
