im a sheet metal fabricator and layout man and my question is how to fab it together other than butt welding and grinding a ton?....another way to go about the is just straight gores or slicing pattern the other way and making "reducers" to make 2 bowl halves and then put them togther but still the fabrication issue comes into play. Either way interesting work it would really put my layout skills to the test to do this by hand but I think i could do it.
