Have you tried the stretch from Peninsula downstream? There's some nice water between Peninsula and Boston, and I think there's a put-in/take-out at the Boston trailhead.
Yes I have fished this stretch and I agree lots of fishy water there! It is amazing how different the river morphology is as you travel down the river. You are right, there is a put in/take out at Boston. I have rafted from peninsula to Mill Creek in Cuyahoga Heights and am amazed how it changes. I float down the river and take out downstream. I’ll usually have someone pick me up at a downstream location. I only paddle back if i want to fish a stretch again. I highly recommend kayaking this stretch! So much nature to see!

Do you paddle back to where you started? I thought about launching from that spot with my kayak but not sure if paddling back would work.
