Europe needs to federate, rearm, grow a pair, and stop allowing the Yanks, Chinese and Russians to dictate their policies.
Europe is the centre of the modern world. We forged it and exported it over the past 500 years. Time to stand up proud again, stop infighting, and show the world what the culture that invented modernity is capable of.
    Europa Victor.

I'm a yank living in Europe permanently, and I agree. However, Europe is facing some tough issues. Germany has been the economic engine of Europe and it's sputtering. France isn't filling that void largely because of its domestic turn to the right wingers. The UK is the economic sick man of the European coalition after Brexit and 14 years of abysmal mismanagement by the Tories. Labor doesn't have a lot to work with. European leadership may grow from Poland, Sweden, Norway, and the Netherlands.

WW2 demonstrated to what degree a dismembered Germany could fight on. Russia likewise. You have been told for the last two years Russia will collapse any day now. No it won't. China needs Russia as its buffer against the West. China supplied 50%+ of Vietnam's workforce during that war. China is now keeping Russia afloat, and India - pffft- is providing finance from purchasing black market/secondary market Russian oil. Look at Russian trade with the 'stans. Kazakhstan in particular has tripled its trade with Russia from electronics to capital equipment. That's the West selling out Ukraine. Russia will face a long, slow, drawn out deterioration but it will not collapse. Simply bc at the point of collapse it will take a negotiated settlement and the West will break Zelensky's arm if he doesn't take it. So you can see Russia will keep going right to the end but without collapse since just before that point - peace.

Pootin cannot bully Trump and if he tries Trump will unleash the restrictions on weapons to Ukraine while arming Ukraine to the teeth. If Europe were to take the lead in the war against Pootin and show Trump they don't need him to win, that would be best. Trump loves winning and if it looked like he was going to miss out on getting a win against Pootin, Trump would jump back into helping Ukraine full speed. European Countries need to decide if they will fly the white flag, or if they will display theirs with pride. This is not a first for Europe, it will not be the last. Being prepared and not being afraid to show it is going to bring you more support that if your behavior is telling your neighbor that you can not be trusted when the times get tough. It is time to show the what the "U" stands for in the European Union, in the United Nations,,, it stands for yoU, if yoU stand with it.

The fact that the Europeans are "confused" is a very sad indictment of their weakness and stupidity.
It is self evidently obvious that the war in Ukraine has existential significance for Europe.
They should be giving Ukraine all the help, including boots on the ground, that they can.
The fact that they are not doing so shows that they have already lost the war and are actually just colonies of Russia.

Agreed with rewild6134, Europe needs to decide what they are going to do regardless of what the United States does. Europe needs to understand that nothing that any other country does in this world is necessarily permanent, and relying on others who can change their minds in a minute, is not a good way to protect yourself. Being prepared for the worst only means that you are not going to be surprised and you are more likely to achieve your goals if you don't expect another to do it for you.

Indeed, the problem is so hard and the current state of the art seems so frustrating that some researchers prefer to dismiss the entire issue as being outside the scientific domain altogether, on the grounds that unique events are not conducive to scientific study. *However, this position appears deeply unsatisfactory, especially because, although life certainly evolved only once on this planet (see Chapter 11), we have no idea just how unique or otherwise it is in our universe as a whole. If one does accept the origin of life as a scientific issue, then there seems to be no denying that it is a problem of overwhelming importance before which all other questions in biology are relatively mundane"*

If ukraine is doing so well, why do they require more equipment?
If Ukraine is doing so well, why are they struggling to recruit fighters?
If Ukraine is doing so well, why are they resorting to terrorism?
If Ukraine is doing so well, why are the hospitals full.

Times Radio brought out its star-lunatic. Yeah, the situation for Zelenskyy army isn't bad, it's catastrophic. Obsessed with media picture Zelenskyy started another misadventure in Kursk that proved to be another unmitigated disaster for Ukraine. In three days he managed to waste 97 armored vehicles and 590 lives of hapless Ukrainian troops on this another PR lunacy. Meanwhile ISW stated quite authoritatively that Toretsk lost its strategic significance tonight and the same fate awaits Pokrovsk, Dnipro, Odessa, Kiev and Lviv.

Zelensky meeting with UK : You been talking behind my back while I been waiting for decisions and had to make one on my own or lose everything.
Times radio : welp Zelensky decided he wanted to defend the country instead of running away to another country and retreat his armies to the London tower where his armies will help United Kingdom in making decisions.

Sun Tzu said that a foolish man will set fire to his own country so that he can rule over the ashes. That man is Putin, and eternal shame to the Russians who allow him to do this. Their great grandfathers were better men,and rebelled against the Tsar after 30 months of war. Today’s generation are spineless, and are standing by while the FSB turns their country into a desert.
