Merci pour cet excellent tuto ! Après presque 10 ans d'utilisation, mon PC montait à 98/102 degrés en idle, il était urgent d'agir. Très chiant à démonter et remonter, surtout fastidieux (4 à 5 dizaines de vis, une douzaine de connecteurs dont les fameux trois câbles rubans super galère à remonter quand on ne connaît pas... Bref 8 h de taf, un bon coup de pinceau pour enlever la poussière, avec quelques coton-tiges pour les parties difficiles, de la pâte thermique et hop on passe à 46-70 degrés, 55 en moyenne, donc un bon 40 degrés de moins ! A noter qu'on peut démonter le ventilateur lui même avec une fine lame pour l'ouvrir, pour le rendre comme neuf (quelques petits ergots noirs à déplier puis replier ensuite pour enlever la plaque du ventilateur) et ça à mon avis ça joue pour bien faire circuler l'air et bien refroidir. Sinon ils sont où les concepteurs de cette machine qu'on les pende par les pieds ? LOL
I had several asus-us models and all of them start to whine (fan-noise) after a couple of years. A drop of silicon-oil does the trick. Most of them had easy access to processor and fan, but this oof! I like to cut a hole (and create a door for easy future access) in the backcase for easy access to the fan because I don't want to disassemble the whole machine to avoid damage to motherboard, components and connectors. Can you provide me the exact measurements of the fan and center location of the fan in cm or mm? From the center to the fan to the edge of the laptop case? Thanks! I will show you the result if you like.

J'ai suivi ce tuto, une quantité astronomique de poussière était à l'intérieur. Coup d'aspirateur, changement de la pâte thermique (Arctic MX-4 à 10€ chez LDLC à coté de chez moi). Maintenant il ne dépasse pas les 70°C en benchmark !!!
Question! Those three cables beneath the ssd 2 are connected with that tiny white "thing" you wiggle it up so it the cables comes loose. Now stupid me lost that little white thing. Now I can't connect the cable with the contact because that thite piece of plastic secured the cable. Doe you or anyone else know where I can buy this? Thanks for the informative video.
first of all the video helped me alot.. nice work question : i have a new bothem case , and now i miss a lot of screws. i need to buy new one , but have a huge problem.i dont now wich screws ( M size ) where to put it in , cant see any messeure or any thing .... is there any way you can help me out thank you
my laptop has stopped working and it wont start normally, the fan is going crazy and the screens stays black. i opened my laptop and noticed that it's missing the orange cable ( one of the first 3 cables you disconnect) any idea where this cable is for and if i can order one somewhere?
Скажите, а почему вы размазываете термопасту, а не используете метод горошины/полоски/крестика? И наносите термопасты жирненько. Вроде везде пишут, что термопасты нужно очень тоненький слой, только чтобы заполнились микротрещины. А размазывание якобы способствует образованию пузырьков при прикладывании охлаждающего блока - на ютубе есть несколько видео где это демонстрируется с куском плексигласа. Но на большинстве видео по обновлению термопасты в ноутах её почему-то размазывают. Я в замешательстве и не пойму какой вариант правильный :(

if as you said just screen doesn't turn on so problem might be in LCD cable (removed in 9:11); if laptop is starting but there's no image on LCD and external monitor it bettery to try to reassemble it 1 more try corefully plugging all the connectors including LCD cable.

Здравствуйте. Наиболее вероятно все же некорректно вставленный шлейф, либо что чуть менее вероятно мелкий мусор попавший в порт для шлейфа подсветки при пересборке, также вероятно хотя и более печально если при пересборке шлейф подсветки был поврежден. Ну и можно посмотреть есть ли в настройках БИОС'а настройки подсветки (честно говоря не помню есть ли в ноутбуках данной серии таковые), т.к. при пересборке возможно имел место сброс настроек.
Спасибо большое за оперативный ответ, шлейф проверял сразу, вставлял несколько раз все равно не работает, про мусор в шлейфе не подумал, попробую почистить, в данной серии ноутбуков не нашел включение подсветки через биос. А каким образом можно проверить шлейф подсветки? Заранее спасибо
крайне скептически отношусь к данному сообщению, ОЗУ к работоспособности дисплея имеет отношение лишь в том случае если оно используется как память для интегрированного видеоядра, то есть проблемы с дисплеем могут возникнуть только если при разборке неаккуратным движением нанести физический ущерб самой плате, но данный совет в данном случае всеравно не поможет

You can use thermal pads of 4 thin
what thickness? artic silver has 0.5 mm, 1mm and 1.5mm
i watched again, there is 5 termal pads.
F... me, this is the most complicated laptop to disassembly I have ever seen... BTW. What thickness of thermopad would you suggest for GPU memory?

После прочистки пропала подсветка клавиатуры, шлейф проверял несколько раз. в Чем может быть проблема?

Взаимозаменяема система охлаждения от версии с i3 к примеру и i7?
+Николай Лучко не уверен, но скорее всего производителем комплектовалась одна система охлаждения как к ай3 так и к ай7

перед разбором снимайте блоки оперативной памяти иначе после включения может неожиданно не перестать работать дисплей. проверенно на себе.

@@mrak2394 В моем случае дело было не в памяти, повредил шлейф соединяющий мат. плату с монитором.
