Master Wang Xuanjie (1938-2000) with his students performing Yiquan & Dachengquan mixed skills of “Frictional Step”, “Footwork Techniques”, “Kicking Techniques”, “Arm Striking Techniques” and “Release of Power” in Tiger Form in the 1980’s. He studied with Grand Master Wang Xiangzhai (王鄉斋先師, 1886-1963) in the late 1950s. (Edited by Shifu Changrong Ph.D.)

Shifu Changrong Ph.D. is a 34th Generation Master of the Shaolin Temple, a 5th Generation Baguazhang Master, a 6th Generation Xingyiquan Master, and a 6th Generation Yang style Taichi Master. He is also a rare successor from the Chinese legendary Grand Masters Zhaodaoxin(趙道新先師), Wuyihui(吳翼輝先師) and Wangxiangzhai(王薌斋先師).
To promote these original and authentic Chinese martial arts, Shifu Changrong has founded the Kungfu Meditation Center in New York City and offers private and group sessions for both children and adults.
Shifu Changrong hopes to exchange ideas, share experiences and collaborate with friends from all circles of life including, social groups, academic institutions, and families as well.

Hey everyone, after I inquired with my friend Mr. Zhao Wenlu (the very early disciple of Master Wang Xuanjie), I was told that Master Wang Xuanjie was actually born in 1938, and not as in the published source which reported 1936. I am very sorry for the mistake which I quoted Master Wang Xuanjie’s life span as 1936-2000 in my this video.
I truly am fascinated with this very rare Kung Fu; I'm determined to learn-it,step by step(thumbs-,up!

It has been a year now since you posted. How are you doing? I tell my own Hsing Yi Chuan students that perhaps the most important thing they will learn from me is "standing like a tree" or Zhan Zhuang training. If you are pursuing this you are well on you way. My own teacher advised me to practice Zhan Zhuang at the same time every morning and evening if I wanted success. I had a powerful experience of the chi one evening as I concentrated on Tsuan Chuan. This came about in my fourth year of training. Since then I have continued my practice, and will do so until it is time to leave. A great deal of knowledge on Da Cheng Chuan can be found in a small, and marvelous book on the subject, by Master Lam Kam Chuen.
It is entitled "Chi-kung Way of Power."

步子和形意还是差不少，杨德茂 姚宗勋 这俩师父桩底子厚实。不过也正常89年代流于形，太难就没普及性了。
