There really isn’t a lot out there on the internet built to the scale of technic figures. My lego train setup is built with system pieces to technic figure scale, with system track, it works out to about a 30” narrow gauge line. The quality of your trains continues to impress, more so because you have done it with mostly or all technic parts. This video is quite the production, I love it.
awesome! seeing all the cranes and trains in action is amazing! well made! seeing the Robel in action was a real treat! I am looking forward to your future content!
I've actually watched a crew rerail a diesel-electric locomotive before, and you don't need cranes. All you need are some wooden wedges and a competent engineer. EDIT: Cars yes, since they can't move themselves. But if only 1 of the diesel's trucks derails, all you really need to do is pull the cars away, put some wooden wedges behind the derailed wheels, and slowly reverse the locomotive, and it should pull itself back onto the rails.
I've seen those tools where the train drive back up to track. But in my case the track was broken so I had to lift it. I think these side boom tractors are only used in the US so there are probably several ways to do this. Thanks
Which relies on someone driving the locomotive, in a situation where it is not impossible for things to go south and the thing tipping over. I'm not saying it's inherently unsafe, but a lift with cranes is much better to control and make safe. Which is why that is standard practice for a lot of cases.
I can confirm this to an extent. I've re-railed many a locomotive and train car. Sometimes you can, as op stated, simply pull the cars back and use wedges and pry bars to walk the wheels back into the tracks. It's just a matter of getting the lip to work back to the inside. However, there are times where it can't be done and you have to get the dozers with the crane to lift. (Seen 75ft of track disintegrate). With that said, I work at a steel mill and our cars are between 400 and 500 tons each as compared to 30 tons for normal over the road.
Honestly one of my favourite channels Big twist on lego trains + technic has alot more possibilities with all the unique pieces, machinery and programming
Loved every second of this. Amazing job on all your creations and the role playing was exceptional. Cant wait til the next episode. :) Oh and subbed. :)
@@legotechnictrains8999, how do you make the double switch track in lego technic? Is important for the lego technic city for me. Did you know that? Can you make a PDF instruction from every track. I want to make a crossover and double crossover train track. That is very important. I want to buy it with Apple Pay. Can you add it on Rebrickable please? I mean the instructions?
Cool! I remember when I was 12 years old (21 years ago... ehh...) and I also had hundreds of such "games". It's a pity that I didn't have any camera back then, and you could only dream about a phone :D (about a phone that didn't even have a camera yet hehehe) Very goooooooooda video. Thank You :)
I am not sure if it possible to make knuckle couplers in Technic Lego small enough for my trains, like they actually function in real life. And I still don't completely understand how they work after watching several videos about them haha. So now I've got some very primitive knuckle couplers. You can see them in the video below at around 3 min in. My latest version does not have the 2 loose pins anymore but only the black parts I put in the middle that locks everything. There is quite a lot of play (loose space) in the connection which actually helps with pulling the heavy cars because they don't need to be pulled in one go but one after the other because of the play. Video: ruclips.net/video/C9EUYhrmUsM/видео.html (at 3 mins in)
Well, having some play and therefore the sequential pulling is pretty realistic. I think in real life they use spring mechanisms to accomplish em that, but it's still the same basic effect of having slack in the train. You have the right idea with that black drop down piece as well, that's similar to the mechanism that a Janney coupler uses to keep them locked in place. There's a channel who goes by Hyce, he has a really good breakdown on the different types of American couplers, including a few different types of Janneys, on his channel. Maybe that will help provide some insight?

This is so amazing, so interesting I never thought this was possible, admittedly I’m not a LEGO Technic person (the sets are at times a bit too complicated well maybe it’s just me) but this is so amazing it looks incredible
ngl i didnt expect the side crane tractors to be rc when u were seting them up and i still wonder how u make all of ur stuff or even think about the prices of each set of tecnic pieces needed ... nice work as always... keep trucking
Luckily these tractors were not so big so not that many parts. To keep the cost down I buy the cheap chinese motors/receivers/controllers. There are 6 small PF motors in each tractor so 12 real Lego motors would cost lot. I also only buy sets when they are on discount. And if a lot of people watch my videos that also helps.
These trains are pretty heavy so when they crash parts will break and bend. Not sure if I want that. But I do want to make a video with high speed trains that will probably crash.

Whao that train drfting is crazy cool. Would be legendary to see something like that done in real life with a huge train and a smaller one
That was the most realistic lego trail derailment i've ever seen! Awesome!

I know haha! thanks
Is there a TGV in the background?
No I don't think so. A couple freight trains. A TGV is on my to do list... it's a long list.
that was so good. loved it. Very creative
Nice video my friend
Extermely cool!!!
I want this for my train set!
Great!😊❤
Hes returned!
Man, your content is so unique. I love it! I think the pneumatic train is the coolest!
Thanks, I've got some nice improvements for the pneumatic train but it's going to take while before I can make a video.

Thank you 🤗
Hello what is the scale? And nice video👍
Good job on the trains!
Can you make a train car that is a flatbed with train tracks on it and have like a unfinished train on it
Does that exist is real life? Send me a link!
I will try my best to find it
It is like car for container but it have tracks on it instead of the container
Yayyyyyyy they’re backkkkkk 🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳
Sadly i only found you about a month ago and i assumed it was a dead channel. Glad i subbed anyway. GREAT to see a new upload.

Can you post instructions for your locomotive and trailers?
16:30 i mean i'm all for using your head, but i don't think this is compliant with work safety standards.
I’ve seen it all now, I’m getting old. 😢
I'm just starting...
The building instructions are gone from rebrickable (except for the rails). Have you decided not to make them available?
Was it part of there TRAINing?
We're do you get the technic beams for you track
Can you build 2TE116 locomotive??
Русские здесь есть? Трактор на 5:33 с боковым краном используется для укладки труб в траншеи но не как ни для ремонта поездов.
Can you please release a video on how to make a technic train step by step please I have been trying to make one for so long
Its cool
i want that train so bad
You should make a GP 49
You should try to make an ES44AH engine
